I phoned in and asked about a ac condenser for my daughters car. They said they have one and it’s in good shape for $95.00. So I said perfect go head take it off and they would phone me when I could pick it up. Two hours later they phoned and said come get it,it’s ready to be picked up. So I drove half a hour to pick it up. When I got there the tube was squeezed together and the fins where mostly bent and it had a warp to it and a few hits from the bottom. The thing was unusable and was complete garbage. How can someone look at it and say it was in good shape when it wasn’t, even after they took it off. What a waste of my time and fuel for my truck. Pretty sad customer service I think. So before you drive a distance to get a part I would ask for a picture. Alls they said was sorry guess we can help you then. What a joke of a company!!!!!

Worst experience in my life dealing with a mechanic/ auto wrecker. Completely incompetent and lazy. And the brunette women working in the front with glasses was the rudest person I’ve ever met made me feel like I was a complete inconvenience by being there. If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a truck stolen, it was dumped near Sylvan. This company towed it, they lied and over charged for the tow by over 50km. Plus charged us for a extra day of storage. When a person is already facing the difficult of having a vehicle stolen, this company takes advantage, they literally held our already stolen vehicle hostage. I will never do business again with this company, and I strongly suggest anyone else looking for quality service, that you should support a more ethical company.

They came out on a 30deg day and got my car off the highway after the wheel had fallen off. I had the repairs done in there shop. All the staff was friendly and the mechanic seemed very knowledgeable. When I paid the bill the price was very reasonable and they gave me back the damaged parts to help recover repair costs from a shop that had worked on it earlier in the week. Thanks guys i will recommend you to anyone who asks and will return should I need it in the future.

I had a difficult machine recovery on my property in an awkward area. A friend recommended lake city. After seeing just one picture of my machine they came out confident that they could complete the job. Everything went well and they risked their own equipment to get the job done!! Price was very good as well thanks guys!!

I am a single mother, I work mon-fri and live 2 hours out of Sylvan lake. Getting my vehicle from this place was a complete nightmare. “Sarah” who answers the phones should be driving a tow truck not dealing with customers because she showed zero compassion or mercy 1100$ later after trying to work with this company to get my vehicle back. I had to make the 2 hour drive to this place which has terrible hours 3X before I actually did get my vehicle back. The first time I was 10 minutes late getting there at 4:40 and they close at 4:30 Sarah was still there and there were two tow truck drivers that were about to leave because I was late she added an extra 150 to the bill which made it too expensive for me to get my vehicle out I would’ve been able to get it out if the 150 wasn’t added to the total but she refused to work with me and told me there was nothing she could do about it so I had to leave without my vehicle. The second time I was there at two in the afternoon and again the 150 was added to the total anyway even though I was there on time and her reason was because I wasted her time the last time I was there. And only am I having to take time off work to get to this please I have to drive two hours pay somebody for gas and Pay for childcare. She showed zero compassion and hung up on me three times and I wasn’t being rude at all. She told me I’ve had plenty of time to come and get my vehicle I always show up at the last minute and I’ve had all day, she must assume I don’t work at all. I asked to speak to a manager and she claimed that she was the manager So then I asked her if I could speak to the owner of the company and she said he’s off sick and won’t be back for at least two weeks. She left me absolutely nowhere to go in terms of getting customer service or being able to talk to somebody who would show me even a slight bit of compassion. The way this company conducts business is disgusting and it shouldn’t be legal For them to just add on $150 just because I feel like it. In fact I don’t think it is legal and I will be reporting this business to the Better Business Bureau hopefully something can be done.I was literally shocked to see that there were any reviews on this website that were positive. I don’t know how it could be from one extreme to the other but my experience was far from positive. If you can avoid this company I recommend avoiding them at all cost. Horrible customer service and just a huge rip off in general . When I was in town, I asked around to some of the other local business owners and heard nothing but bad things and angry people who told me they are crooks always have been always will be.

When I called, they could get the window I needed, great price and shipped from edmonton. I had called other auto wreckers and no one would have it shipped in. Not Lake City, they did and were extremely caring and compassionate about my situation. I would recommend them to everyone needing parts. Thanks ladies!

Phoned for a part this morning and the young lady I talked to knew her parts and although she didn't have my part she gladly gave me contact info for another company that had it. I get my part on Monday. Great service all around. Will definately be checking with them first next time. Keep up the great work!!
