My parents purchased a 1963 VW Beetle on Halloween night. They took great care of the car and let me learn to drive it. That was my first stick shift. For parts, my dad always went to Lakeview. One day on my dad's way home from work, the car caught fire. The gas line came off and somehow crossed the distributer cap thus sparking the fire. Fortunately, my dad didn't get hurt. Our family talked about it and decided the best fate for the car was to sell it to Lakeview since it was totaled. We felt they could get parts off what was left. Lakeview made us an offer that was more than fair and even towed it away. If I ever get another VW, Lakeview is the place to go. They have been in business a long time and the service is outstanding!! I like the fact that they only work on VW's and Volvo's. The guys down at Lakeview Auto performed an engine swap on my 2003 Volvo S60 I was amazed at how fast they were able to get the job done they did an outstanding job everything is flawless and they did it at a fair price good job guys.
