He's done great work on my VW and he even took the time to give me some advice over the phone about how to take care of my car. No more having to go to overpriced franchised auto repair shops. My parents purchased a 1963 VW Beetle on Halloween night. They took great care of the car and let me learn to drive it. That was my first stick shift. For parts, my dad always went to Lakeview. One day on my dad's way home from work, the car caught fire. The gas line came off and somehow crossed the distributer cap thus sparking the fire. Fortunately, my dad didn't get hurt. Our family talked about it and decided the best fate for the car was to sell it to Lakeview since it was totaled. We felt they could get parts off what was left. Lakeview made us an offer that was more than fair and even towed it away. If I ever get another VW, Lakeview is the place to go. They have been in business a long time and the service is outstanding!! I like the fact that they only work on VW's and Volvo's. By being that specialized, the mechanics know all the in's and out's of how these cars work. The prices are reasonable too. I highly recommend Lakeview Auto Parts!!
