I only worked there a few weeks and as a place for a first job, it wasn't that bad. The people are caring and supportive, and are willing to work with their employees to help keep people happy. Any complaints I have are centered around myself and my unique situation, which should not reflect on these people. They are willing to adjust your hours to fit your needs, provide equipment such as back-braces and gloves, and more. One of the most impressive services they provide is taking in suggestions and adding accommodations to improve the comfort and convenience. With all these positives I must admit this though: This place works like an assembly line. That means you must try to keep up your part in order to progress. You may get lucky with something simple like cleaning threads and ports, but some jobs demand high-levels of multi-tasking to maintain workflow. Not all of them can have their time taken with. I'd imagine most of these jobs require fast-paced effort over a total of 7 hours non-continuously. If you are unable to meet these types of demands, either wait for the right position to open, talk over it with the employers, or look elsewhere.

I used to work quality control at this plant. And well, you don't want to read about how it was to work there, you want to know about the quality. Most of the engines I tested were good. The engines that I failed, were sent down the line regardless of failing inspection. This happened to other test engineers every day. They only care about numbers, not the quality of the engines they are sending out.

I don't have a sense of entitlement, and I am not afraid of hard work. These owners care about people. Sorry that others have unreasonable expectations and want to slow walk through their day. Waanh. This company is trying to do their best to improve itself through growth and development. We want to make a good product. These previous posts do not reflect the attitude of those who go to work everyday dedicated to the Lkq cause.

The management at this company is TRASH!!! Great employee's but the people running this company have no appreciation for there workers. Not mentioning any names (Shay). This guy is so disrespectful and degrades everyone on the production floor. LKQ corporate office needs to take the time to ask people about there personal opinion and how they are treated at the Bellingham WA location. Im quite sure 95% of the workers would agree. The bathrooms are unsanitary, everyone is underpaid, and extremely disrespected. This family who stared the business should have been removed once LKQ bought it. The management will clearly have negative reflection in LKQ's buisness.I wish the very best for all thee's good people who are treated so poorly at this company. All of you deserve better.Shay the pant manager needs to study and read some books on Leadership, Attitude and how to communicate with people.Take a look in the mirror at yourself.

Unbelievable turnover rates due to incompetent leadership and a complete disregard for workers rights, safety and respect of the individual. If your in the market for a poorly rebuilt engine, built by under trained disgruntled employees with literally no support from management than you found the right place.

Could they be anymore disorganized? Is this how all companies are becoming now in 2020 with so many tech solutions to prevent chaos? I guess not here!
