LKQ Pick Your Part - Baltimore Hawkins Point JunkYard Reviews
3.7 stars based on 30 reviews- SStewart B.
This is a large pick your own part junkyard. Or you can negotiate with one of the people that hang around to get parts. The prices are good, they are helpful, and the website has a good list of prices as well as cars on the lot. Warning: you probably don't want the warranty (extra cost on checkout), make sure you ask to not have it as they appear to charge it by default.

Except for some people purposely destroying some parts, it's a great place to find used parts to keep your ride alive. Just wish they sold whole cars with salvage title. I need a 5 speed donor to make my automatic a manual.
- SSara Brown
Large self service auto parts yard. Well organized and new cars and trucks are rotated in regularly. I deducted one star because the checkout process is very slow so expect a long line to pay for parts on weekends. Also tell them if you don't want the "extended warranty" because they automatically add it without asking you or telling you.

A one time go to when it was Crazy Ray's but the switch to LKQ a public trading company brings higher prices than even Amazon or Ebay so I will no longer be coming here to much corporate greed.
- WWillie Coleman
Great place to find used parts...not bad prices...sometimes I go just to look lol
- cc h
Like others mention, they try to charge you for pieces of what should be one assembly. Other places charge you for the assembly, this place wants to rip you off.

The checkout people are rude AF and act like you are bothering them. I have went to these salvage yards for 20 years and now They are overcharging everyone on used rusty parts. you can prob get your parts cheaper used on e bay. BTW They also fool everyone by tacking on a ((warranty charge)) that you do not ask for. Skip this place if you can but sadly they have bought out most other salvage yards.

Very terrible place where people make less than 15 an hour lol. Brought my Jaguar here to sell and they told me, it has to be in your name. Just a very goofy place. The tow truck driver let me know, you basically have no chance here. They pick favorites.
- MMike
After years of pulling parts and without notice the company decided the independent pullers can no longer pull parts for customers they hired their own staff to pull parts. As a family man with kids to feed a note would have been nice. Gonna miss the great staff Big Will and all my customers!

The process of arranging the selling of my car was smooth. However, the pickup process was not so good. I called to make arrangements for the pickup and explained that I lived out of state and would drive to Baltimore and meet the tow driver at their Hawkins Point Rd. location with the title. I explained that the dealer was already made aware of the pickup. Just stop at the service department to pick up the key. The representative said okay. While driving to Baltimore, the tow driver called to verify the pickup. I told him that the dealership was expecting him. He immediately told me that he couldn't tow the vehicle unless I was at the vehicle. This was around 10:45 am. After fighting the Baltimore traffic, I arrived at the dealership around 11:50 am. To make a longer story shorter, I had to wait until approximately 2:00 p.m. for the tow truck to arrive. The driver was very professional and pleasant. Otherwise, I would rated this business as a one (1). Next time, I will select another business.

Great customer service, the assistant in the front office was extremely helpful. She was very patient in explaining the whole process and answered all of my questions. The layout of the establishment is is clearly displayed and very accesible to customers. There are also signs in years that make it super easy to find the location you are looking for. I will definitely be coming back whenever I am in the need of parts for my vehicle!

No need to waste your time with them. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU for a 90 day warranty you didn’t intend on getting. No heads up from staff prior to purchase. You find out after looking at your receipt and or by seeing a small sign they apparently have like if everyone is going to see it. They won’t bother refunding the warranty fee without you returning the whole part to them. They won’t even let you re buy the part again without the warranty as if you didn’t just take the part off yourself. If you go be cautious make it clear that you don’t want the 90 day warranty if you don’t need it. your dealing with a scummy lkq location. They must be inspired by bait and switch dealerships. They are just a junkyard don’t overpay
- IIan Bascombe
The best thing about the location is (....you can find amost every part you are looking for..) but one of many things that were upsetting...they don't ask you if you want to add on warranty they automatically add it on ..they charge you for everything ..including nuts and bolts if they are on the part you want....take exactly want you came for .. make sure before you leave that location double check your bill and find out what you paying for ..they have fees ...like core fees .we all go to the junk yard to get parts and also save money .... but the price paid ..you are better off going to the dealership
- MMike Culler
They were very helpful and polite. The prices are very fair. There's a very wide selection
- RRick Fig
Nice yard and lots of cars. I gave it 3 stars because they automatically charge you for a warranty without asking you if you want it. Check your receipts because it does add up. I went in twice and told the disgruntled guy at check out that I didn't want the warranty and I think he upcharged me anyway.

Huge waste of time. You look at their website on your way out the door to make sure that the car that you were there for is still sitting there. You spend 15 minutes driving there and when you get there not only do they not have that car they have a bunch of cars that they weren't even supposed to have. They have no idea what they actually have. Save yourself some time, life is too short to spend it wandering around in a junkyard just hoping you'll find another car like yours instead of the one that you came to look at which mysteriously disappeared within the last 15 minutes. Go to Erdman at least they know something about what they're doing.

Prices are higher than new parts and engines are too high. Better off going to Eastside recycling. Cheaper and they pull it for you without charging you to pull it
- DDanny Walsh
Just started going to junkyards this past month and I'm actually kinda impressed. Has inventory listed on site of what row and space is extremely convenient. Great price on the 6 or 7 things I e gotten so far. Cheap entrance fee and nice, polite workers.
- EErich Roney
This place has it all! After visiting other junkyards in the DMV area, I was blown away by the selection in this yard. It's very clean and organized and the prices are very reasonable. The cars haven't been stripped down to the frame, which is all too common in the area. Def worth the drive from DC

Total rip off I bought a complete suspension and they charged me for strut and a coil spring…the strut should be one complete piece why charge me for both…I bought a complete seat they charged me for the track…it’s apart of the seat why should I break the seat down if the price for a seat is to be complete …then the taxes is $44 at this point might as well just go to a used auto parts store where you can get your parts pulled instead at the same cost. It use to be cheap but now prices just to high for you to pull items yourself…next they might charge you for the radio and the buttons on it careful
- FFrancis Adanuty
Good place to find auto parts but buyers should make sure they check the cost breakdown before they pay if not they will be paying extra for 90 days warranty on all the parts without being asked whether they want the warranty. I got home before realizing i paid about $60 extra for 90 days warranty.
- MMagnum Home Services
Great business model. Took out their 90 day warranty and glad i did. Engine was no good. No questions asked and offered money back. I will definitely buy from them again. They stand behind their word. Thank you LKQ
- DDimas Benitez
This place is VERY dishonest they charge you for part warranty with out asking you and when you complain about they ARE very rude Warranty is optional they had posted two signs stating about the FEE but when you are in line waiting to pay you really can't see it. They are legally robbing people. If you had to go to this unprofessional junk yard make SURE if the part you're buying doesn't require warranty. SAY IT LOUD AND CLEAR I,I DON'T WANT TO BE ROBBED NO WARRANTY NEED IT!
- HHenry Couts
Like others have mentioned, this particular location tacks on the optional warranty without letting you know. They won't charge you for small things so when you ask to get items w/o warranty, they overcharge the small items for something bigger. The other LKQ locations are much better, watch yourself here.
- MMario Puma
Not as good as before, now they jack up the prices , as always bad customer service , looking another place to buy parts
- GGeorge Heckman
I come to this place to look for car parts for years now and recently I’ve learned that one of the employees have been reserving cars for certain people who come here and he charges you everytime you want to know the location of the car at least $100-200 depending on the car you’re looking for. that’s not including having to checking it out of the place itself. Some man by the name of Efroin Morales, he drives around with the operating machine. So now every good car that comes into this place he wants to charge your for it even though he’s not allowed to do that.
- JJeffrey Parisi
Always a nice place to go, always find something I need. $3 to get inside now, not super prices like a couple years ago, and have 90 day warranty on parts. Bad they closed Jessup, should open another
- AAdolfo Rivas
I don’t have complaints about the parts I found what I needs but when I was ready to pay the cashier try to charge me $128 just for 2002 Honda civic passengers side fender, it’s crazy that happened 02/19-2023 at 3:48 pm, I’m feel so disappointed.
- KKeion Corujo
not sure if cars be in the right spot or not but my main concern and I PRAY they see this, TAKE BETTER PICTURES!! NON BLURRY PICTURES AND PICTURES OF THE WHOLE CAR IN FRAME AT LEAST ONCE WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL.
- MMario Mejia
They charged $40 for the guaranteed but they never ask i get 2 bumpers they charge160 and finally i pay $233
