I'm surprised by the number of bad reviews. This was my first experience visiting a salvage yard. A pleasant woman with curly blonde hair greeted me, showed me where all the cars like mine were located, explained all the rules and details, suggested prices, and was very polite. When I was leaving, the staff at the checkout was also quite friendly and courteous. I purchased the part I needed and was satisfied. For me, it was more of an attraction; my wife and I went there together and ended up buying a grille. They charge $3 per person for entry, which I thought was reasonable. I'm giving it 4 stars because I felt the prices for used parts were very high and there was no room for negotiation. When I mentioned that used parts cost more than new ones, they told me it was up to me to decide whether to buy or not. They also suggested that if I declined the additional warranty, the parts would be cheaper.

Make sure you bring your own tools because they charges a ridiculous price to take off items. Also I purchased a rear mirror cap and the charge me for 2. “ I only purchase one also for the 90 day guarantee my receipt will show 2 as well. I will be reaching out to BBB and posting this on major platforms to inform consumers. The staff are unpleasant as well. I feel rip off that I’m a female. I will be sending secret shoppers there for investigation. Something will be done you don’t rip off customers. It’s not about the money it’s the principle. This establishment is a scam. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Poor customer service!!! Really upsetting my husband went there they gave him 15 min to remove the part he did it in less than 10 min he got to the register with 13 min to 5pm and the lady screamed across the room to him with an attitude saying to him she wasn't going to ring him up and he would have to go back the following day. Even after he told her we live an hour & 1/2 away her response was "Oh well & that it was against company policy"! We won't waste our time going to this location again. This isn't the 1st bad experience there! And it's always the same straight blonde haired lady that gives us trouble! She is very rude & shouldn't be working with customers! She should be fired! I've seen her treat others poorly as well! We know alot of people & this is not a good look for Lkq Tampa!! No apology, No sympathy, No compassion, & Poor customer service skills... She deserves 0 stars from me!!

Awful company. Definitely don’t recommend to anyone. The woman who answers the phone lacks communication skills which is actually ironic seeing as thought her only job is to deal with people over a phone? Maybe they should consider new staffing. Would never recommend the company to anyone. Just wish I knew exactly who I was speaking to last! New clientele beware!

I was a little intimidated at first as this was my first time visiting a salvage yard. The people at the front were super helpful. Just remember to bring your own tools and be prepared to get dirty. If you can manage those two things, you will save big! Snagged a radiator fan for 21 bucks plus a 5 dollar core charge.

I wanted to give 0 points, it was very expensive and apart from being expensive, when I went to pay the guy was upset because I asked the prices. I didn't like the terrible service. I hope I don't come back.

Hello, good morning, terrible service from the supervisor and the boy who counted the pieces. They did not want to accept a refund. They should take measures or they will continue to lose customers.

Needed a driver's side mirror for a Scion XB. Called around and $65 seemed to be the average price. Called LKQ and was quoted $22 and the operator kindly checked the current inventory and there were three Scion XBs on the lot. $3 entrance fee and a little bit of work with some sockets and a screw driver and with tax the total cost was $26 even! Just plain a great operation all the way around! Thank you LQK for what you do and thank you to the friendly staff at the Tampa location!

I went there in 90 degree weather pulled a factory radio and vvt sensor out went to pay to my surprise. The radio was 84.00 dollars and sensor was 21.I could get the sensor pair for 24 on Amazon and radio on eBay some under 70. Without being in this Florida heat. The staff was cool.

Im from tampa and Lived in this area as a kid when it was Copher Brothers. i see they have done a better job at getting the bad employee's out of there and replacing with good quality people. myself i pulled a complete AC system from a older 90s f150 all for only $148 and have a receipt to prove it to you. thats the whole entire system. dealer wanted $2000 for this whole job. i pulled it in 2 hours and installed in 3 hours at home filled with two cans of 134a. now i have freezing cold ac for summer!!! i did the same thing exactly 15 years ago at same place in 2002 with a 80s chevy cavalier. dont be afraid to pull ac parts. just see if system is filled or have air pressure. if green oil comes out its more then likely good. prices are ok but Its a fair priced junkyard compared to new or dealer.

I have been to many pick and pay. Tampa, Orlando clearwater, and many more. Never had such a bad experience. The staff was rude and checked tools like the airport. Many places i go, they don't charge for small plastic stuff or bolts, and they just give it for free when you buy things from them. Because we all know these parts go in trash. But here they charge for every small bolt. I would recommend Clearwater location or Orlando they are much nicer people.

This place is a joke now. I use to come here for everything and then the changes started so i fell back to 3 or 4 times a week. Spending lots of money. You use to come out here and there was no parking because so many people were here (not a bad thing). However that is not a issue anymore come on the busiest day there might be 30 cars in parking lot. Now they have very poor customer service and prices for stuff you have to pull are ridiculous. First they tell you one thing then they do something else and say they never told you they said that. On the other side they want to charge prices that you can go somewhere and get stuff already pulled for. Some even close to what a new thing cost. Maybe $20 or so less. While you are out in the yard it is a mess (which I can understand to a degree). Some rows arent even marked so unless you are counting or watching out you dont know the row number. Then at checkout there is fees and cores that they dont give you any knowledge of till you payed. I definitely wouldn't recommend here for any parts. I know I'm just one person and that they won't care about my 3 or 4 purchases a week that i wont be making from now on but I will definitely recommend somewhere else to all my customers as well as myself going somewhere else.

Last time I was there was like 10 years ago.they used to have the cars organized by make ,ford 1 or 2 rows, toyota 3,4 rows the same make all together. Now like me I was looking for air housing assembly. Of my infiniti. 1 infiniti in this row then the other infiniti all scattered everywhere. Imagine you go to a store to buy cereal one brand in aile 3 .another brand all way at the end of store ,an onther brand in aile 23 and 6 and13 ..They doing it purposely because with the heat you will be exhausted searching all over the yard for the other car.i found 1 air housing assembly but it was cracked so bad before they used to give you a discount. Now take it or leave it.and plus you have to purchase the warranty if you want to get a refund. On warranty no refund. It's better buying from ebay than go spend half day in the heat struggling to remove an item and you pay almost same as buying from eBay. Next time I'll buy it from ebay let it come to my front door .if it doesn't fit I can send it back.

Cashier was rude, Parts are overpriced and now there's a return fee that they charge you without telling you it's optional . I had my part for a core charge an they told me no core charges so I look on my receipt an they charged me a core charge fee anyways. Will not be going back here

Be careful when purchasing things here. They throw a “90 day guarantee” fee on every item when you ring up, and don’t even mention it. I priced everything off their site before going, and it was like $40 more than what I priced online. They charge you more once you are there, and then add on that fee. I walked outside kind of curious as to how my purchase was more expensive than what I priced, and I see the fee on there. I went back in, and the kid said it was “optional” and allows you to return the part if it’s defective within 90 days… So a $8 fee on a $20 internet plastic part? Maybe on an engine or transmission or something mechanical I’d want that option, but he didn’t even give me the “option” when he rang it up. He just slipped it on there without saying anything to me. So I had him refund it. Also, the rows are a mess out there. Can even roll the wheel barrow through some of them because of all the stuff in the ground. Most cars were picked through before even getting out to the lot, so most things that you’d want, are already gone before they hit the yard unless you are looking for body panels or something.

No one answer the phone to confirm that the car we need in stock, the website shows the same vehicle with the same VIN number in three different locations.

The yard was clean and very organized. I’ve visited several yard and was very impressed with the service. I was on vacation here and decided to search for a few things here and 2 of the 4 yards had what I needed. Unlike the nasty yard back in Fayetteville Ga. on Robert’s Rd. They really need to take after these yards….

This company has gone to hell. I used to spend thousands of dollars at LKQ a year but now I try to avoid them as much as possible. They want the same price for an engine block as they do a complete engine. The engine was already torn apart and on the ground. Why would I pay for an engine assembly when there wasn't one? Also, they want $349 for a single piston!! If I bought all 8 it was $349.00 each! I can buy aftermarket race pistons for the price of 1 piston. A crankshaft... $349!! Cylinder head...$349!! A complete engine is $424

This car was posted within an hour i came here in 30 mins and looks like this in one hour the car was stripped dry.? They ether sell the good parts off first and post clean pics so you pay admission fee to get in.. or they post it late on purpose for other companies to get the parts first.. terrible place.

It's a U-Pull it junkyard... Don't expect a clean showroom..it's usually muddy if it's been a rainy past few days.. so don't wear your Sunday best shoes!! The vehicles are organized pretty well. I've always found what I needed here with parts. The people working there are always nice and helpful. Parking can be a bit of a game...seems many of the customers who come there don't know how to park...not LKQ's fault or course. Bring something to drink as it gets hot out walking around the relics of once land yachts.

Worst place ever. Our boy scouts wanted to create some things with car parts. Went and grabbed random things we found on the ground. Literally junk. They wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount for stuff that they will toss out anyways. I wasn't asking for the things for free by any means but hundreds of dollars for literally junk is ridiculous. Definitely not military or scout friendly!

1 star only because I can't give zero. Horrible experience.....I drive 20+ minutes and before I pay to enter I asked how much the part was going to cost (see picture below same 1 should the person working) seeing that I only came with $10 and that's all I had until payday. The lady told me it would be $4 and when Im getting ready to leave after pulling the part and everything they told me that it was $8. I asked to speak with a manager and they said that he was unavailable today. I asked for his name so I could call tomorrow and they told me they could not give me that information...
