I needed a tire because of abusive behavior that caused a bow out. It had happened just a few weeks previously as well. Sale side, same spot on my vehicle. I was told that Mark's has tires and rims and to go there and see what is available. They had and have a large inventory of used to basically nre tires. The price was the lowest in the area and the cost for a set, which is actually what needed is about the cost of (1) or possibly (2) new tires without mounting. I was unable to get the get the complete set, but (2) that were actually needed the most to keep me moving along the road. I appreciate Mark's and hope the rest of you will as well.

Just met Mark for the first time Friday September 20th 2024 he had all the parts I needed at a very reasonable price and was very professional and knowledgeable, I recommend going to him with your auto needs

I pick up crashed cars the owner and the staff is very cool

They had parts in color that I wanted, took almost 3 weeks and numerous calls to finally get some eyes on the parts and verify the condition before I drove 3 hours to go pick them up. Once I got there they were great to work with. Simply not enough staff on hand.
- JJennifer McLaurin
Super helpful workers who genuinely try their hardest to help their customers. We have bought 2 vehicles from them so far that have been great, and parts for a different one. Every time has been great experience! Thank you guys!

Horrible place to do business with. First off they where only authorized for a deposit for a used engine but took the full amount. Took them over a week after getting full payment to get the engine out. I had to call everyday as they never return the calls. Engine was cut out timing belt was lose likely slipped the exhaust bolts rusted to a nub called multiple times was told the owner would call me back to discuss refund. Never got a response had to sell the vehicle total loss on time effort and money. I wouldn't recommend doing business with them.

Mark is the best guy around he will help u out no matter what. Very willing to work with anything to help you out. Made sure I had a good car for my son. I would really recommend going to marks salvage! They also have a lot of good cars an even if something is wrong mark will fix it for you!! Very good place!

Friendly staff. I thought the employees were over charging but once I talked to Mark (the actual owner) I quickly realized they were actually giving me deals. Staff was awesome and helpful. Owner is out to get you for every dollar possible even if you pull the parts. Have your pockets full before you go here. You’re going to need it.

Called from out of state about a gauge cluster I found on car-part. Whoever I spoke with over the phone was very pleasant, and helpful. The employee confirmed the price with me ($50, which matched the price listed online) plus whatever shipping cost would be to MA. Great! Seemed like they would have the part out the same day. I called the next day to see if the item was shipped (after not receiving confirmation email), only to be told that the owner/boss decided he could not sell the part for that price. This is not a reflection of the employee (who seemed sincerely apologetic), but the owner/manager. Very bad look to back out of a sale that way, and the days of someones word being their honor are done.

Getting a car picked up was simple. I always got a timely call back to every message I left. The owner called me twice on the day to give me status updates on his driver. The driver was on time, friendly and efficient.

Called and asked about a part that holds the sway bar on on a 95 Avalon Toyota the guy quoted me first said $20 and then he quoted me no $10 each if I take them off when I can go buy that part brand new for $17 for both of them with the rubber I just wanted the metal strap I don't know if that's a fair deal for a salvage part or not but I guess I'm going to just wait two days in order it from Amazon sorry I have to write you one star buddy but cell was price if I got to go take the part off you should be charging me 50 cents or what it would cost for that weight and metal

Know before you go... I called ahead to verify they had a set of 4 tires that would fit my son's car before I made the 2 hour trek. The guy on the phone insisted they had several sets of various models and tread life in that size. When asked to send a photo or list of a few choices he said he was unable but insisted I would have a good selection and to just come on in. I arrived to discover they only had one set of four that would fit, and despite worn tread and being a very cheap Chinese brand, they wanted way too much for them. After reading the other reviews, two recurring themes seem to prevail here...1. They are extremely disorganized and really don't know what they have for sure. No inventory system, no organization, no method to the madness...one look at their office tells the story. 2. They don't like to do any leg work locating parts until you're there in person. It's almost as if their MO is if they can get you to their location, they can try to sell you on what they have to offer. Unfortunately, if you're like me, I don't like to wast my time... Oh, and they certainly love their tires...their prices reflect that as well as their over abundant inventory of them. Executive Summary: Know before you go, and have a plan B if they don't produce what they say... Post Script: After the "Management" posted the kind response below, they emailed me the following: "Thanks for the review. Next time try your own local Junk Yard. Then you can compare everyone's "cheap" tires. Being you want them for almost free as you stated in the prior emails. Better yet go to a tire store. You can get coffee and they can even put them on for you." Clearly not a stable individual.

Very friendly and easy to work with. Showed up at the exact scheduled time. Would highly recommend!!

Awesome place would absolutely recommend to anybody looking for parts. Fair pricing, they let you use one of their junk yard cars to get around the lot. Only con is that depending on what you are looking for it can be hard to find as there are a lot of vehicles on a pretty huge lot.
- TTai Jambor
Picked up a Kia Rondo engine. The workers were very helpful. Fast service. They loaded the engine on the trailer before my brother-in-law was done paying. They kept the engine covered with a tarp when coming to pick up the engine because it was raining.

Called them they said they had 2 or 3 engines for my car so I drove an hour and half from a different state, they showed me 4 or 5 cars all the wrong years and not one had a good engine, sure would have been nice if they would have took a short walk in their junk yard and looked before telling me they had a good engine for me. Oh well found a good motor and a great deal with a good warranty at Chesney Auto salvage so I guess the trip wasn't a total loss
- JJean-Luc Genereau
I called them in the morning and asked them to junk two vehicles I had. They were there on the same day. They gave me a fair price and the service was very good. They knew what they were doing and were very polite while doing it.

I came here looking for a very specific part for a 2004 dodge intrepid. The people there were very knowledgeable. They knew agsactly which part I was talking about, and they knew agsactly which spot in their salvage yard I needed to go to find a vehicle to get the part off of. They borrowed me a yard truck to get my tools and everything to the junker vehicle, and even borrowed me some screwdrivers as I forgot mine. Their price was extremely reasonable. As the part I needed was so small, they did not even charge me for it at all. They have completely 100% helped me out today and I would highly recommend going to them for your auto salvage needs. I was at chesneys auto salvage looking for this part first, as they were closer to where I live. I had a terrible experience there. They wouldnt let me touch any of the cars without buying the whole motor for 850$. Yeah right... I was looking for small alignment pins for a water pump, not a 850$ engine thats probly no good anyway. Highly recommend MARKS SALVAGE instead.
- gguyfrom minnesotaUSA
bought several cars from him on ebay and in person. he sells or pulls parts off a car after you buy it or his photos show more parts than what is sctually there. he sold seats from a car I bought and did not tell me. his ebay photos showed a 70 charger with an engine and k frame, but not there when I picked up. Mark was not honest, he new what he did, and says he did not mention it to me because he thought it was no big deal. I paid top dollat for parts on non restorable cars. Very dishonest person

One of the best scrap yards around, has a wide variety of vehicles to pick apart, helpful staff, and a streamlined system for getting parts. Could not recommend anyone else, they're the best.

Don't waste your time if you can find parts elsewhere. A lot of everything but the yard is extremely unorganized and it takes forever to find what you're looking for. Bring a fat wallet if you do find stuff, classic vehicles they ask NOS value for crusty junk.
- GGavin wrazidlo
Would highly recommend, the staff is very kind, respectful and, best of all very helpful! I've went there to get several parts before and have never been disappointed!
- DDirtymaxx 66
