Not really deserving of a one-star review, but unfortunately that’s the only way to leave feedback. I’ve been going to Marty’s for years and never had an issue until recently.<br>I purchased an alternator and was told I could leave a deposit since it wasn’t in stock, and that it would arrive in two days. I returned, paid in full, and picked it up as promised. However, once the alternator was installed, I found out it was faulty.<br>I contacted the store and was told that if I provided the reference number, a replacement would be ordered and available in two days, just like before. Three days passed with no call, so I reached out myself, only to find out the part was not in. They also claimed they didn’t have my contact information, which was confusing since my phone number is clearly on the receipt and they had contacted me previously.<br>I provided my vehicle information and phone number again, but I still have not received the replacement. To make matters worse, the store is closed on Sundays, so I’m now forced to wait until at least Monday—hopefully—for a resolution.<br>After speaking with family members, I learned this has been happening more frequently lately, which has caused several people to take their business elsewhere. I’ve always trusted Marty’s in the past, so this experience has been disappointing.
