A lot of the people that work here are very rude, in my opinion. I've had many experiences with a lot of different employees there, where I left that store fuming.Other than the costume service, they are stocked ok, it's usually clean, and if they don't have something- they will order it for you and it won't take very long to get there.They will charge your car battery for free, and you can return some used items, like car batteries, for the recycling fee, or they give a core charge for some things like starters and other parts. Or those, you have to have bought it from them, originally.

I went to O'Reilly's to get a new battery for my car. The person behind the counter asked if he could see my car. He attached something that measures how well everything is working and told me that my battery was under warranty (which I didn't know) and that everything was working fine. My battery had just taken a hit due to someone breaking into my car and leaving the interior light on. I have not been treated with so much kindness and professionalism since moving back to Santa Cruz. I would highly recommend using O'Reilly's on 41st avenue for your automotive needs.

Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was offered help immediately upon entering and the cashier was even cracking jokes with me. I usually visit this place when the situation arises and they are as reliable as always.

Wrong parts and terrible attitude. Plain and simple, I’ve been telling everyone looking for auto parts to avoid this particular store. Autozone is just up the road and they will probably give you the wrong part as well but at least they are nice.

I've driven across the northwest this week and my truck started acting up. I stopped at 2 oreillys along the way the one in Cottage Grove Oregon looked up my wholesale account and found it but still charged me retail so an 02 sensor a thermostat and set of plugs cost me nearly 300. Honestly I felt taken advantage of.Overall the staff was nice they let me change my 02 sensor in the parking lot which, above everything else besides needing a part, having a place to install it was crucial so a big thanks to them for that.
