They pay a 1/3 to 1/2 less than the national average. So, update, my kids save cans for extra money, brought in 90lb of cans, were told that being there was maybe a ball of aluminum foil per bag, they gave them 78 lbs of tin and 12 lbs of aluminum and got $5. Thanks for screwing kids over!

The lady who should greet you and assist you at the scales is rude, unprofessional, talks to you like your either stupid or a child!! Absolutely not impressed!!! She shouldn't greet anyone EVER!! However, the guy who helped us unload was friendly, explained the process and helped us unload. Very sad that my first impression was so bad that it out weighs everything else... she can't even be bothered to explain to you what you're getting paid for!!! Horrible horrible!!!

They call light iron tin so they can pay you $35 a ton when they should pay at least the national average of $100 a ton. They are robbing people. It cost me more in fuel to scrap a 20' trailer full of light iron that they call tin then I was paid at $35 a ton. It's cheaper to just dig a pit and bury it. Plus I don't want to keep letting them get a 200%-300% profit off of people being stupid.
