Ive only traded with River Metals twice. Both times everything went very smooth. My buyer,(Garrett) dispatch & the drivers are all very professional & actually tell you the truth about ETA of roll off containers. In less than 48 hours I had 3 roll off's & a high side all spotted & pulled from a time critical project. My only complaint was most of the metal room folks didn't seem to care about being productive. Took over 2 hours to unload 3 pallets coils & 2 containers of copper. The female ( I cant remember her name) was the only one that took pride in her job.

I love this place and wouldn't take my recyclables anywhere else. Period. Staff is helpful and nice (especially the weighmaster!) and they have the process streamlined. Best prices in town, too.

Today was my first visit and it could not have gone any better. It was so easy!!! The staff was incredibly kind and explained every perfect to me. I can't wait to go back and cash in again.

They weigh your auto without the driver as you go in. After you are done and leaving you pull back up on the scale but you stay in your auto. They deduct your weight at first then add it at the end. We pulled up weight was 4520 (actual weight) I got out it was 4340 (without me). We unloaded came back and the weight was 4100 (with me). They paid us for 240lbs $9 should have gotten paid for 420lbs.

The economy is not too good right now so prices are a little low. But I was in there three times today and brought home $400 on the day. Service was good I was pleasantly surprised

I bring scrap into here two or three times every week. The staff are friendly and recycling metal is a great way to make extra money and help the planet at the same time
