I took my daughters car here after another shop told me it needed a radiator $418.00 installed. I ran a pressure test on it just like the other shop. Called me and said it was the radiator cap $7.98 fix. They could have easily said it needed a radiator like the other shop did. And I would have paid for it. But they were honest and didn't try to take advantage of the situation or me. And that's really appreciated!! So if you are looking for a trustworthy good shop I recommend this one.

This is a great place if your car needs synthetic oil. They'll keep the filter you need in stock for you and don't charge an arm and a leg. I tried Express Oil Change before, and S & S is probably 25% cheaper or so. They also handle brakes and "my car is doing this thing...". I think they do tires, too. They are my default mechanic for my MINI Cooper.

I am a dealer and he does quality work! Everything we send him he repairs the right way the first time without a hefty bill at the end. It is always hard to find an honest mechanic who does a quality job, but we found one!

Been going here for years. Its hard to find a honest mechanic like Jerry. I trust him with my personal cars and my work fleet. He keeps up with all of the warranty work which saves me a lot of time and money if the same parts fail during the ownership of the vehicles.

Me and wife ran something over that punctured our tire. It was going flat quick and after spending all of our money on fix a flat and air we drove down a back road and came across s&s. I explained our situation and told him we lived an hour away and had our 2yr old daughter with us. That we had no money and no way of getting home. The man fixed our tire and told us when we came back that way someday to bring $10. They were a true blessing and we are very thankful. It's was also fast service! Thank you S&S!

Based off my wife's interaction with the shop I decided to write this.So as of today, 25 August 2018, my wife is giving me details on her interaction with the the shop S & S Services Center. Initially the customer interaction was nice, pretty straight forward and welcoming to a new customer. When I talked to the gentlemen on the phone I was rest assured they were able to handle the tasks.I asked them to replace the driveshaft and wheels on the car. Using my supplied parts they had replaced my stock driveshaft with an upgraded solid 1 piece unit from 1320 G-Force. Pretty straight forward, no complaints here as far as my wife and I can tell. Now on to the wheels. These are custom made/finished from Forgestar as they are made to order they take some good time to manufacture. Approximately 2 months I had to wait already knowing I had factory wheels that were bent(out of round before I bought the car) I needed something to go back on the car ASAP. I didn't really consider having a broke belt in a 300 dollar drag radial on one side but I wasn't able to verify myself as it would be pretty obvious on that type of tire. I will contact the manufacture myself for that part.Installation of the wheels did not go as planned apparently, and as my wife is the middle party for this and I am deployed to Afghanistan currently doesn't make this really settle well with me. I had made sure even before I brought my some years old now 2011 Cadillac CTS-V down to the shop they could install the custom wheels. So when my wife gets the car back and I have her recheck everything she noticed the rear wheels have some slight damage to them. Looks like the tire machine ate one of the spokes on the wheel. Not all of them, just one from what she can tell and on each rear wheel.Worst part about it, she wasn't informed of the damage on the wheels or they likely didn't pay attention enough when installing them to care to make sure they didn't damage the wheels in the process. One looks like maybe a manufacture defect but it's fairly large and the wheels never left the boxes they arrived in. So if you're looking for expensive wheels to be installed, I would consider a more high end shop to tailor to your needs.

Warning never take anything to this place To be fixed first off they charged me 3 and1/2 hours to place a exhaust gasket on my Genertor on my Rv at 120 per hour. Second upon arriving home I noticed my stairs would not come out. Upon further inspection the Rv was muddy and my stairs was bent. Which will cost $450 to repair. Warning warning !!!!!

I bought an RV with generator trouble. At S&S, they worked on it for a few hours while I waited, told me some parts would have to be ordered so they unbolted and removed the generator for repair and I left. It is a 5KW Kohler.Mice had started a home on top of it. There were chew marks on wires and other trouble. I was told the fuel pump had failed. He said it’ll take a couple of weeks. I called a week later to check on progress. He’d ordered the replacement coil. I called another week later. He told me he’d have to check on where that coil was, that it hadn’t come in. He’d call me.Another week later I spoke to the man I’d bought the motor home from. He told me all that he had done to get it running, including a new fuel pump among others, and that the engine wouldn’t start but it had run in the past. I used that as a chance to stop by, 41 miles away, to get an update as it had been three weeks. The owner gave me a long list of the things that they had done already and it still wouldn’t run correctly. It was quite a list and I decided to give them time. I called some time later, not sure when, and he assured me they were trying. It had carburetor trouble, wouldn’t run well and they needed a new pin or something. At roughly three months I called and said that I might as well pick it up. He said his mechanic wasn’t there on Monday, call tomorrow and he’d let me know if it had been fixed.A couple days later I arranged to have the generator put back in.It ran on the way home but not the next day. I called and they said bring it back and they’ll get on it, so I did. When I returned, they found it had a weak spark from coil to plugs. I left them alone to work on it. They removed the generator from the RV, worked on it some more, got it running, and were reinstalling it after lunch. Once installed they told me that it wouldn’t start cold and I had to push this thing down and hold it while starting, that it was okay until I got a new carburetor. Remember they'd told me it had a weak spark. Okay. I’d do that and at least I had my RV back, working.Again, the next morning nothing worked- again. At this point they had kept me tied up around three months, so I took it to a friend-referred engine repairman. I stayed while he worked on it, but the fix wasn’t easy to find. He also had to remove the generator from the RV and traced things down to a damaged coil. That new and yet still weak coil had now died. It hadn’t been gapped correctly and had been scraping against the magnet and apparently that had damaged the coil. The new mechanic called a few hours later to say he was unable to locate a matching coil at the parts place. I agreed to take the coil back to S & S Service Center and offer to pay for a replacement for the damaged new one.I have now just left S & S. I explained that the problem had been isolated to the coil. When I was there last they told me it had a weak coil but sent me on my way once they got it running.I just left there with only a part number. He didn’t offer anything more and he knew I was disappointed but there’s no way I would ever return again. It is not okay to keep equipment out of service for so long. He can do better, I do believe. I paid him a bit over $825.00 I give 2 stars because he believes himself to be a Christian and an honest man. I appreciate his honesty. I do. Even so, it will have a total cost above $1000 for repairs.

I highly, highly recommend Jerry at S&S for Onan generator service. I gladly make the 45 minute drive from Huntsville because I won't take my generator anywhere else. He helped me get my 28-year-old Onan running again even though his usual generator technician would not be in until the next week when I needed to leave the next week on a trip.
