A bit upset with their timeline, my car broke down and called BCAA they said they called Scrap King to get it. I called them 30 minutes later to ask an ETA, they said about 30 minutes more, so initial call was 830, called them at 900, 1000 I asked what was up and told they were leaving. 1030 still nothing, 1100 and they said they should be there already. 1145 they finally arrive, 1230, 4 hours after my car broke down I got a call that it has arrived...They were polite, and seemed nice but... The whole waiting game that started with we'll be right there to 4 hours later was a bit ridiculous.

The driver was amazing!! I was traveling with my mom laura palmer and siblings. We got a flat tire and was having trouble finding somewhere in castlegar for a tire. He told us to check down at scrap king for a tire we got there and the rest of the staff was incredible. We got the tire fixed and back on the road! Even after paying my vehicle I had someone who could of grabbed in but wouldn't make it there before they hey closed but couldn't put it outside gate. And even during operation hours wasn't allowed the time to get my belongings even tho they make it impossible and had my vehicle Wedged so I couldn't open my doors to get my stuff . After already paying 580 .

Honest and kind staff. Never rip you off. Can totally rely on the supervisor. Highly recommend. Nice to have you in Kootenays.

Their drivers do know what they are doing and do a great job. Lucky to have a good towing operation like this in the area when needed!

Had a break down in the Kootenay pass out of cell service. A trucker called us in at the top of the hill and Scrapking was out with two trucks (one for our truck and one for the sleeping trailer) in no time. Good thing I have AMA! They took me right to the Nissan dealer in Cranbrook. Thanks Chris and gang -- you made a bad situation manageable.

Such a great help when my car broke down on the highway today! I'm covered by BCAA so can't speak to the expense of towing, but the people working behind the desk were super friendly and helpful, they called around and found a shop for me to take my car to that could fix it same day, and the driver got me there in time to get my car sorted out! So grateful!

This review is for the Creston location on 211 Collis St. (I couldn't find them on Google so I am assuming this is the same company)Had my SUV break down with trailer in tow 15 minutes from Erikson. They were super quick to respond to us, and had both the SUV and trailer loaded in no time. They also helped figuring out a place to store my vehicle while plans were made to get it home, and really went above and beyond with helping us out during a sticky situation.Special thanks to Chris, Jacky, and anyone else on the team who assisted.
