I recently retained St. Charles Junk to remove a lot of water damaged property from my basement. Very happy with the experience. Excellent communications before, and the day of, service. The crew arrived early (called first) and wasted no time getting to work. They worked fast and very efficiently. Extremely polite and were careful in their work to not damage adjoining areas. Swept up the remaining debris before leaving. Very competitive on price. I don't know what more you could ask for. Quoted me $500 for a pile that would take less than an hour to load. Went and got another quote for half of their price. I’m not extremely knowledgeable on costs of hauling junk but I’m sure it’s not $500 an hour

We had a bunch of boxes and vinyl plank flooring leftover from our move/renovation. Nate and Rich came out and quoted me a very reasonable price and were able to load it and remove it in roughly 30 minutes. I am very satisfied with their work and the business at large. I will be recommending this company to any of my friends and family who need their junk removed.

St. Charles Junk was phenomenal. They were quick to respond and provide an estimate. Once they arrived, I had decided not to get rid of one item, but add some others. They were very flexible and the price was right. I would highly recommend them!

Very pleased with the services of St Charles Junk. I called late afternoon with the list of items needing to be removed, was given a tentative bid and they were here the next morning to remove all the items. They were efficient, professional and I felt the cost was very fair and reasonable, clearly less than franchise services. I can highly recommend.

Our cost was a bit more than the quote we got by phone, but only because we more than doubled the stuff we thought they were taking away!! By the time the truck arrived (exactly at the time promised) we had added to the piles substantially. Bart and Co. took it all in stride - and took it all away. We had a good experience with Bart at St Charles Junk. We had them take away a heavy cast iron and wood garden bench, a big medal desk and medal credenza, some rubber tubing and a heavy 6ft wood king size headboard all for $115. They were quick, efficient and pleasant. Hubby paid 2x the price for a big name brand place to haul away a queen size mattress and box spring from his moms. I found St Charles Junk on Angie's List. They had several good reviews so I have them a call. glad I did.

Bart responded quickly with a fair quote and made it easy to schedule an appointment. He showed up within the time limit he gave, charged the quoted price, and was super quick. The whole process was really easy and I can't recommend him enough. I'll definitely hire again in the future if I have any additional junk needs.

So I rarely write reviews - but I was so impressed with the customer service, ethics, integrity, and pricing - that I felt compelled to say something. We had a ton of junk, about 20 years worth of stuff. I called various companies which included got-junk, college-hunks, and half a dozen other companies. I'm fairly type-a and because I anticipated a costly pickup, I wanted to price it out. Pricing ranged from $450 to $800 with an average around $500.However, as a small business owner I always attempt to give my business to local small companies versus the national franchises. So I called Bart and Jeff. First, great guys, down to earth, and they made absolutely sure that I understood how they charge. I was glad I made the call and then asked how much. $200. Easy decision.They show up and are very careful with the carpets. Didn't have to move stuff around - they went where I needed them to go. I would have easily spent $500 after watching these two do heavy labor. The whole time, chatting with them, learning more about what they do and no surprise at the end - an even $200.Look - I'm a small business owner and finding good people and good companies is so hard to find these days. If you have to make a decision for someone hauling a little or a bunch of junk, I couldn't recommend another company.Bart, Jeff - great job and many thanks.
