I've been here soo many times that one of the staff actually told me they would start charging me rent... :) I haven't had any issues that were reported by other reviewers. I hunt mostly for MK5/6 Volkswagen, and they're hard to come by.. I guess the demand is pretty high for these cars. I'd recommend this place, the UPIC yard as you can find gemstones in there for a very, very small portion of the price you'd pay for a new part at the dealership. I'll give it four stars 'cause they're closed on Sundays! I guess the staff have to have a day off and sleep...

Horrible Service, called to order a alternator for a dodge journey 31st of May, cancelled order on the 1st of june as it was an alternator i needed, They said they would etrasnfer my money back to me should have in couple days...emailed Tony Burgess and his response was 4-7 days, after the 7 days emailed Tony aggain requiring about my refund now 7-10 days,, called yesterday was told i should have recieved refund by now second email sent in to head office to see what is going on and told to keep checking my email. nothing but run around and will not be dealing with them again.

I called to inquired about an auto part and I spoke with a gentleman named Mo which he found and gaved an amazing price!!! I had to come all the way from Ottawa to come get it!! I said to Mo let me find time to come get it because I wasn't sure if I had time this week. He called me back couple day later which I was surprise and happy to ask me if I was still interested! I'm like in my head wow!! I really appreciate the follow-up. I was thinking that was like a diamond service !! Super nice guy , super nice service, really want to help you out!! Good job !!!

Unfortunately horrible customer service at the Ottawa location. Called few other locations and everyone was helpful and polite.I really don't understand why they have a bad attitude and always very rude on the phone at this location. From reading other reviews clearly I'm not the only one who thinks that too. I blame the manger who sees all the negative reviews with the same issue and don't bring it up to thier staff.My opinion is based on multiple conversation.

I have already given this place a one star review (can read about it down below) but figured I would give this place a second chance.Today I went and called to inquire about a part on a vehicle and the lady on the phone (had a french accent) hung up on me 3 times. Answered once I called on blocked I.D.This place needs a management overhall will not be visiting again and will be advising my friends and anybody else I know not to as well

If you are not french good luck. They tried to charge me $5.60 for 3 fuses. Go to kennys for better service and better prices. Standard auto has less than stellar customer service, its almost as if they don’t want you to buy anything

Gail on the phone was my first contact very friendly and efficient with answer pertaining to deposing of my car. She asked if I had taken everything out and don't forget the license plates she said and I told I had everything out and gave the car a kiss goodbye which got a chuckle out of her.Greg who picked up the the car was congenial, quick and professional and looked like he enjoyed what he was doing. I got a replacement bumper for my Grand Caravan there at a great deal last Summer. Their excellent availability of parts and prices enabled me to fix the front of my van, including extra parts and welding supplies (straightening out the metal and filling holes to the sides of the bumper) for less than $200 total. If I had taken it to a shop instead of doing it myself with the help of Standard, it would have cost me at least $4000.

My experience so far is good. I didn't have to return any of the items that I purchased because of deficiencies. Good value for the money
