Husband took a pickup truck full of cardboard to recycle today since we are still recovering from the storm surge flooding. Why wasn't the gate unlocked and open?!? This is Saturday at 10:45am. Plus 2 other people were there as well. Everyone was mad as hornets!! Do better Largo!!

The hours open to the public are far too short. Saturdays should definitely be longer. And then randomly they will close the gate so even during posted hours of operation they are closed. I would definitely like to see an increase of hours that they are open.

Apparently you have to be retired to be allowed to recycle. They just put in a gate which I'm sure helps with people dumping trash but when you close at 4:30 you completely eliminate the working public. I can't take time off in the day because I need to take my recycling and I can't bring my cans with me to work. Who's bright idea was this? And on Saturday after working all week sure let me get there before 11:30. Again the only people who are going to be recycling are the oldsters who stuff it full of Styrofoam and plastic bags and unbroken down boxes. Why even pay for this public service?
