A True Highway Hero – Thank You, Richie from Best Towing! I can’t say enough good things about Richie from Best Towing. My son had to leave his car on the side of the road after a flat tire and get a ride to work. When I arrived much later, I saw a tow truck with flashing lights behind his car — Richie had been sitting there for nearly 45 minutes, keeping the car safe since it was on a bend and close to traffic. He wasn’t even called to our job — he had just finished with an accident nearby and stopped to help. Richie was prepared, professional, and incredibly kind. He actually said “Well I’m not gonna leave you stranded!” Comforting words for a mom trying to get her teenage son back to work delivering pizzas! He quickly and safely changed the tire, handled the paperwork for my roadside assistance reimbursement, and was so genuine and friendly the entire time. You could tell he truly enjoys what he does and cares about people. He even shared how he moved from New York to mid-Michigan to care for his mom, who’s about to be a two-time cancer survivor (From one mom to another, you go, woman — and screw cancer!). If you ever find yourself in a tough spot, call Best Towing and ask for Richie. He’s the kind of person who restores your faith in good people. Thank you Richie for you care and attention. Richie came out to tow my car. My battery light was on, and Richie tested the car, and said it was the alternator. He even recommended a place that could take care of it for me! He went above, and beyond to help me out! Bell is the only tow service I use! Awesome company!
