I have given LKQ ample time to offer a remediation and apology which they refused, so this is how I’m going to handle things. 4/29/24 I was on my way to work in Big Flats, NY on my motorcycle. I was in the passing lane by the mall and Walmart in Horseheads when I was passing an LKQ truck. The LKQ truck came up hot on someone in front of them so they ran me out of my lane almost hitting me. They saw me as they were watching me attempt to pass. It’s not like I was blending in, but they were blatantly NOT paying attention to the road and watching me instead. I was ran off the road into the median on 17 east. They got off at the mall exit right behind me to fill up at the same speedway I went to across from the mall. No “I’m sorry” or apology or anything. Just smug and dirty looks. I contacted LKQ many times to at least get an apology and they won’t even give me that.

My friends, you should really shop around. They wanted $2400 for a remanufactured transmission. I found one that was not remanufactured but rebuilt under 40000 miles. For $800. And the gentleman even threw in the fluids I needed.

A little more expensive than what the lkq site told me (for my part specifically, don't know if it's a trend) but they have next day delivery for most any part they don't have, which is nice because I no longer have to spend $30 and several hours in the car to go someplace else. Everyone is kind and they have a "no hassle" return policy. It's a good place
