Glad I found this machine shop after the one I had been using for years went downhill under new ownership. The good reviews led me here, and I’m happy they did. In the past six months, Manuel has done three sets of cylinder heads for me, and all of them have come out A1. The only issue I ran into was with a set of Toyota heads where the cam bearings were installed incorrectly, which prevented oil pressure from reaching the VVT sprockets. This caused the VVT system not to function properly and triggered a check engine light. That issue could have been avoided if the bearings had been installed in the correct position, or if I had paid closer attention during reassembly. Since I hadn’t removed the bearings myself, I overlooked that area when putting everything back together. This turned out to be a lil mission and took some time to figure out but I managed to figure it out the issue. In all honesty, I won’t take anything away from the great service they’ve provided overall. One more note: if you’re like me and prefer your heads not to be painted, make sure to let them know in advance. Thank u Manuel you have gained a new customer here.
