This is a great thrift store with upscale offerings. I have bought some really nice European men's shirts, good linens, a Calphalon saucepan, books and other items. I missed out on a really nice set of patio furniture, but I hesitated and it was gone the next day. The volunteers are all very helpful and friendly, the store is very clean and the prices are fair. They have an entire room dedicated to holiday decorations. They also have a great selection of furniture,, dishes, clothing and household items.

Out of the many thrift stores I visited on vacation this was by far my favorite. They had a lot of $1 clothing as well as a wide arrangement of other things. As we were checking out, my girlfriend inquired about a lower price on an item with a small stain. The employee stated that they usually don't do that but ended up giving us half off of the item. We really appreciated the awesome customer service and deals!

Spent the day going to thrift stores with my mom and husband today. We arrived at Iona's Thrift store at 3:37. As we walked in the ladies at the counter let us know they were closing in 20 minutes. As we knew what we were looking for, we started shopping. Just over 5 minutes into the technically 23 minutes we should have had, a message went over the intercom letting customers, us, know that they were closing in 10 minutes (in reality the time was about 17 minutes until they were officially supposed to close. Not more than a minute after the 10 minute announcement, a woman walked by my husband and told him the store was closing in 5 minutes... It was 14 minutes to 4. We had been in the store for about 8 or 9 minutes of the original 23 we started with. I put the books I had picked out down in frustration, my husband put the shorts he was planning to buy back on the rack, and we walked to the door where a woman gave a fake smile and locked the door behind us as she told us to come back next week. My mom told me as we got in the car that she heard one of the ladies saying they had "to get these people out so they could close". I was extremely annoyed. If the store says it is open until 4, then you are open until 4! If there was a need to close early, simply let people know as they come in that you need to close and that you are sorry for any inconvenience. The employees obviously had better things to do than sell items in their store... I will be sure to have better things to do as well! Like shop anywhere but there!
