Knowledgeable and friendly! If you are local, stop in and say hello. I needed to rebuild the Turbo 400 transmission on my '71 C-10 pickup, so I was looking for a seal and gasket kit. Phoenix's prices were competitive and they are local to me, so I stopped in to purchase my parts in person. I ended up talking to the guys for 15-20 minutes and left with some good advice on transmission rebuilds. I'm considering adding a shift kit in the future, and will shop here again if I decide to pull the trigger on that upgrade.

I ordered the Corvette style servo for a 4L60E. It arrived very dirty. Like it has been sitting out in a shop. Had black grit material all over it. The o-rings were new but the other seals looks used and beat up. I called and told them what happened. Sent them pics. They said they would credit part of the cost back to my purchase. Have not seen that yet. I ordered a new D-ring kit for it. Took the servo apart and cleaned it. I also took apart the 2nd piston. Inside was proof this was not cleaned at all from use in another transmission. There was still light metallic residue inside the 2nd piston. Similar to what you see when you drop the pan of a trans. They appears to have sent me a use part, no rebuilt and clean, where someone just slapped on some new o-rings. The D-ring looked beat. The paint job on the cover was also a joke. Looked like someone painted it outside at night where they could not see in the wind. I should have just mad them take it back but I already had the part and ordered a D ring kit. Whoever is rebuilding these there is not doing their job at all. This thing was filthy. Sent them pics of the grime and dirt on it. It would leave grime on your hands. Super black grime with grit if you wiped it with a paper towel. Not impressed at all.
