Today Dec 22 ,2025 I went to pep boys for help, for an oil change ,but instead of helping me, they put two significant dent/ scratches one on my left front side bumper and my right side rear dent and scuffed marks. The technician Angel D ,I'm sure he did the damage because he was the technician that work on the car , the costumer service guy ,denied everything of course, they have cameras, they can confirm their carelessness. But they won't admitted . So for all the costumers who might be considering in going to this pep boys , my advice go to the dealership dont waist your time and money, I have pictures of the damage. ?

I wish I had read the reviews before getting the service and Yes Confirmed HORRIBLE Service My rims were scratched really Bad too during Installation. Mark act like he didn’t do it and just walk away with out giving any explanation.

Normally they're good. But today they saw my parents like idiots and screwed them over on unneeded services. I had 7 months / 10k miles left on my oil and they told my parents the car needed an oil change. The technician, Angel, said my oil was dark. No, it wasn't. I checked the oil a week ago and that stick was clean. I only drive that car on weekends so I know my car is good. I just needed a new battery. I couldn't be there cause I needed to work, but my elderly parents were seen as suckers apparently. I called and of course the manager will defend his employee and his employee will say it's dirty to sell an oil change. They work like they're making commission and it's disgusting how they tried to justify the unneeded oil change. Then the manager tried to say they automatically change the oil every 5 months and they automatically change the oil when asked about the oil life which is bullshit, lets be honest. I had 70% oil life and they still told my parents the oil was bad. I trusted them, my parents trusted them, and they did this. The manager couldn't even explain the discrepancy i had on my recipe saying he didnt see the charge i was mentioning from his end. Also the paper work shows my car is a AWD when it is NOT it is a FWD. so it seems they dont know how to record keep or tell the difference which is concerning. Im so disappointed with this customer service. I will be going elsewhere from now on. I never expected pepboys to screw me over like this.
