Disappointing Experience with Pricing and Customer Service I recently reached out to Matt for batteries for my golf cart and was quoted $230 for the US XC2 and $250 for the T1275. However, when I mentioned that I was planning to have one of his golf cart dealer customers install the batteries, he refused to sell them to me. He explained that selling directly to me would undermine his relationship with one of his regular dealers, as they were selling the same battery for $310, plus an additional $250 for installation. While I understand the importance of supporting regular customers, this approach felt inconsistent and frustrating. If the prices were initially quoted at such a reasonable rate, why not honor them instead of refusing the sale? It seems like a questionable business practice. Be cautious about the pricing you’re quoted and be prepared for possible changes when you go to pick up the product. I ended up wasting a trip only to find out the sale wouldn't happen due to his preference for working with his regular dealers.
