Last night we went in to get a large cut on my daughter's leg stitched up. We had already been to another ER, but the wait was really long, so we decided to give GR a try so that we could get it done a little quicker. We get to the GR ER, we are immediately taken back. The Doctor comes in, looks at my daughter's leg (which ONLY NEEDED TO BE CLEANED AND STITCHED UP) and tells us that he wants to transfer us to Cooks via ambulance. He stated that she requires to have her leg scanned to check that the arteries and veins are fine. Which they clearly were, it wasn't even bleeding. He also wanted her to have an abdomen scan and a scan of her head for trauma. NONE of these things were needed. She had a gash on leg. That's it. No fall, no trauma. I declined, and we left. We ended up going to another ER, where they cleaned her up and stitched the cut. We were in and out in under an hour. The Dr at GR also tried to pressure me to follow his advice or there "could be consequences." Which seemed a little threatening. The guy was on a power trip, for sure. All in all, this was a terrible experience. We will not use this ER unless it the absolute only option.

Co the little center that can! Fortunately we have good health however we have needed some tests as well as preventative screenings. Could not have had a better experience. From registration to testing, friendly and professional staff. Mammogram, bone density, colonoscopy, stress test. Realistically the facility is limited but can provide many services extremely well. Thank you Glen Rose Medical!

The WORSE experience of my life. I was in major pain they could tell by my blood pressure never gave me anything for pain. The doctor came in to see me a total of 2 minutes didn't even listen to what I was saying to him. Then after sitting there almost 3 hrs came back in handed me some meds to fill said sign this release paperwork and that was it. I will never go to this hospital again was treated like pure garbage and no one cared about mu concern
