Bought a 1970 Chevelle from High Octane. Spoke with Dan about the car first then was passed off to Matt to finish the deal. Signed up to have the car shipped from their shop in Mass. to PA. Took about a month to get the car after paperwork was completed. The reason for the wait was after several thorough inspections, they found things that were wrong that they wanted to fix before sending it to me. Communication was great any time I called or emailed, and they let me know they could deliver the car immediately if I had to have it right away, or they could fix what they found wrong (cracked gas tank neck, back up lights wiring, cracked steering wheel, ripped back seat, etc) so I wouldnt have to worry about it, all at no additional charge. They also provided a list of repairs and details about the car above what was listed on their sales page on the website. This was my first time buying a car sight unseen. Dan, Matt and High Octane made it a very seamless deal, through the sales, organizing financing, registration, and delivery. Arrived before Christmas so I was able to have my dad be surprised, as well as my fiances father and grandfather. Car runs and sounds GREAT!

I purchased my dream car, a 70 Chevelle from high octane Classics in the spring of 2025, I met with Dan the sales guy and looked over the car, I noted a few issues with the car and Dan assured me that his Service Dept would complete a multi point inspection on the car before it would be delivered to me and all of the issues would be sorted out, Dan also told me that the car was a fresh build that had been built in Van Nuys and that the dealership stood behind the cars and I had nothing to worry about. The car was eventually delivered, and a ton of issues were located when I had the car independently inspected. The following issues were found. 1-radiator was loaded with debris and looked like it came out out of a 20 year-old car 2-the brake booster was not installed correctly and the brakes would not operate properly 3-the transmission which I was under the impression was freshly built, leaked from everywhere 4-the cooling lines for the transmission we’re leaking and hanging only a few inches above the ground 5-the headlights would work sporadically 6-the wipers did not work 7-the windshield and back window both leaked when I washed the car. When I told dan about this, he told me that he never washes his classic cars to avoid this very issue? 8-the car overheated on the first warm day that I drove it. 9-the rear end leaked 10-the power steering pulley sheared the key and resulted in no power steering 11-the rear main seal leaked 12-metal shavings in the oil 13-I was told that the car had a stroker, but after further inspection, the independent shop found that it was just a regular 350 small block Dan did initially make an attempt to repair some of these issues but the car unfortunately came back worse , the car again went back to high octane classics after starting to run extremely rough, Dan guys then put in two oxygen sensors and sent the car back to me. while the car was at high octane classics it also suffered an electrical fire while they were driving it. Dan immediately tried to blame it on an aftermarket stereo that had been installed. But he did not convey his lies to his Garage staff, which told me the truth about where the fire occurred. The car is now at another shop and needs an engine . This is after I spent considerable time and money replacing the brake booster radiator, fixing some of the wiring and fixing the headlights. In summary if you’re going to buy a car from Dan have it inspected by an independent mechanic before you make your decision . Dan talks a good game, but he did not stand behind this vehicle and I essentially got stuck with a $65,000 paper weight. Dan at one point offers me 1500.00 dollars to go away. Matt in the sales office was very helpful, he tried to negotiate a solution, but Dan and his partner Barry Lundgren wont even answer a email. Buyer Beware

Hats off to High Octane Classics. I feel like I won the lottery. Saw the best looking Cobra ever made. From the moment I saw this beauty online, it was a dream come true. At 64 years old, this is the car I have wanted my entire life. We drove up to pay for the vehicle, my wife came with me, and Danny took us around the shop to let us see all of the vehicles as I had told my wife about all of the amazing cars they have, spent time with us and made us feel right at home. Not sure how we were going to get the vehicle home, Danny arranged to have the car delivered to our home on the very day that it was purchased. The delivery was flawless and the driver could not have been more accommodating and pleasant. Thanks to Danny and his team, this was the most pleasant, I’m efficient and all around nicest experiences I have ever had in all of my years purchasing vehicles. Repeat customers for sure! Thank you!
