My father passed and being from NY was not familiar with local vendors to be able to clean out the house. I selected Precision Disposal based on their initial good customer service and pricing. The driver placed an 8-yard dumpster perpendicular to the house within just a single car wide road in the 1st try and dropped it within 1 foot of the garage door and 1 foot side wall, far exceeding our expectations. The dispatcher worked with us after the snowstorm and the driver once again was able to pick up the dumpster driving through snowbanks. Simply, they don’t just rent dumpsters but rather with their knowledgeable business experience, proactive communications and logistical skills made this a tolerable way to deal with my heartbreaking reality of disposing of my Dad’s belongings. I really do appreciate their support of someone who has never rented a dumpster before in such a hard time. Bill

*edited original review* Have ordered a dumpster from this company twice. The first time, the overweight charge seemed possible since it was filled to the top. The second time, however, the dumpster was maybe half full with mostly leaves and some wood, and it still came back over the weight limit. I understand weight is measured on certified scales, and it’s possible factors like heavy rain played a role, but the charge still felt off to me as a customer. What ultimately left a bad impression was not the charge itself, which was paid, but the follow-up. After posting this review, I received multiple emails that felt aggressive, pressuring, and ultimatum-driven, demanding that I change or remove my review within a set timeframe. As a repeat customer, the tone and approach were disappointing and unnecessary. The service itself was otherwise fine and pricing was competitive, but the way this situation was handled afterward made the overall experience unpleasant.
