The staff here is great, they work really hard to keep things going smoothly. They are underfunded despite the not insubstantial cost of access for residents (seems like a budget management issue?) and it seems they weren’t even made aware of the schedule change by City Council let alone consulted on it until the day the hours changed, surprising everyone. When there are problems here, take it up with the city government making these calls, not the staff. It’s also very nice that the staff initiated a nicely curated “free” area to reduce waste & foster community. That has been such a welcome addition, and further evidence that they really are doing their best under the circumstances.

The hours keep getting shorter and less convenient, I had to keep my rubbish in my car for 4 days , this is disgusting that the town can’t budget wisely since the budget comes from the residents, they guesstimate Scrap and Demo how inappropriate, for years the only dump with a broken scale this town has totally gone down hill in the last 15 years

My wife and I have been going here for 14 years and it is the worst it has ever been. Have my sticker on a car and needed a one time use of a truck for large items. Have done this once before after I called and they said no problem. Still paid the extra fees for the metal. This year asked the same question and was told by a very rude Curtis Ames that I couldn’t do that. So I asked how I should do this and he had no answer. It’s unfortunate that people have no response or answers for me, but then on top of it have to try to show me there authority in a rude and unprofessional manner.
