My mother was at Burke for 18 days recovering from back surgery. She was very well taken care of, the staff at Burke know what they are doing. At 85 years old and having had several medical complications at the hospital post surgery, this was not an easy or straight forward case. My sister and I had many concerns to share with the Burke staff who listened and communicated that they could handle all of it. We were able to talk with the case workers, the nursing staff and the PT practitioners to hear about my mom’s progress and concerns. Burke is clean, safe and full of people that make visitors feel welcomed. They make you feel confident that they are doing their best for your loved one.

Burke is the best place for all kinds of therapy. The men and women that work in physical and occupational therapy are amazing. They have a lot of patience and compassion for their patients. Madison and Dana helped me so much. I highly recommend them. Keep up the good work. The nurses and nurses aide are wonderful. They were always willing to help when I called them. I’m sorry to say this but your meals are not good, no flavor. When I was there in 2021 the food was great.

I had many therapy sessions with Joel. He is an amazing person and therapist. In just a few months I was able to feel so much stronger and steadier. Joel made the sessions enjoyable and knew how to explain each exercise so that I could do each one properly. I felt very secure in knowing he was such an experienced and conscientious therapist. He encouraged me to continue working at home for long term benefits and also suggested joining the gym at Burke, which I am considering. A shout out as well to the front staff.
