Soo here is my story. I got into a car accident, the sheriff called a tow truck man, the tow truck man said he knows a good body shop that will take good care of me. The man was nice and I literally just got t-boned so I just followed his lead. He sent my car to this shop that I was not familiar with. They were nice, he gave me their name and then later their number, he said their name is Westside Auto. I looked them up on google and then saw all the terrible reviews of this place and how many other people were in car accidents and their car was sent here. That made me feel really uncomfortable so I decided to get my car transferred to another shop. The insurance company said they can transfer my car somewhere else. I said good deal. However, the insurance company had such a hard time getting into contact with them. They either wouldn’t answer the phone or said the person that is in charge of releasing cars isn’t there and even LIED saying my car isn’t with them one day. I went up there that day and saw my car and they just acted like they didn’t have that conversation with the insurance man. The owner said he told the insurance company he needs authorization to release my car to him. BUT I literally called him to tell him to release my car to that insurance company before that insurance company even called them. They FINALLY released my car to the insurance company after days of giving him the run around and then keeping him on hold for such a long time. They were most likely holding my car to rack up on fees. I am so glad I got my car away from these people based on what others said and the short time I dealt with them. I know how it feels just being in a car accident and not knowing what to do next and then you have someone like the tow truck company man saying he can help you (he also told me he likes to help people in this situation because a lot of people don’t know what to do. People that like to help don’t say that, they just help people fyi) so it’s easy to just let them help you, but they aren’t helping anyone. They most likely get kick back from sending cars there. So I will warn ANYONE that was in the situation that I was in, PLEASE get your car removed from this place as soon as you can before they start doing work on it. Because they didn’t touch my car yet, but I went through drama for just that short amount of time with them so I can’t imagine what would happen if they actually started working on my car. It would have been HELL I’m sure. Shame on these people. Everyone isn’t lying, these ppl are that bad. The place my car is at right now is waayyyy better! Thank God!

I bought a battery from Express Auto Parts. I installed the battery and the car turned on again. I drove down the street to run an errand but the car wouldn't turn on anymore. I called Express Auto Parts and explained the situation to the representative. We both agreed that it might be something else wrong with the car since the battery was new and recently purchased. I called the person I'm buying the car from and he also agreed that if the battery was new and the car wasn't starting than it might be something else or the alternator. I called a mechanic shop to tow the car and install a new alternator. The shop told me that the alternator was in good condition but the battery was 0-5% charged so they charged it for 3 hours, test drove the car, and made sure it was ready to pick up along with a $400 invoice for towing and battery charging. I called Express Auto Parts because it's bad business for me, as the customer, to have this inconvenience and have to pay the mechanic shop for something that could been avoided if Express Auto Parts didn't have false advertisements about their allegedly good business. The owner basically laughed and said that it wasn't his problem. I am filing complaint with Better Business Bureau and Houston Attorney General Office. I advise to please consider other options when purchasing auto parts because Express Auto Parts will scam you and then hang up the phone on you.

The absolute, most unprofessional shop you can think of. I had a vehicle towed there due to a collision. It took me 3 days just to get in contact with somebody there, and another 5 days to receive any pictures of the vehicle (and that's because I kept calling everyday). The vehicle stayed a total of 25 days Mind you, all those days I was being CHARGED A DAILY STORAGE FEE of $40.00, which I was NEVER informed of, until I asked. When I asked the guy (Frank) about storage fees, he said it was not his job to let me know about them, and hung up on me. I'm all the way in California, so I'm not too sure how the shop is regulated there, however the amount that was paid was ridiculous! The shop "negotiated" the price, and charged $2k, even though NOT A THING was done to the vehicle. And the best part was when he asked to be paid in CASH, when I'm from CALIFORNIA. He was very persistent, and did not release the vehicle until he was paid in cash. I absolutely DO NOT recommend this place to anybody. They are unprofessional, rude, and stubborn.
