She goes and talks to the person that I've been talking to, "oh no, these tires are $95 a piece".....apparently "a set" to them is one tire. I call for a set and am told $95 a set , $95 a set,$95 a set repeatedly. Never once are the words "a piece" uttered. I clear out the van, get my 4 yr old daughter ready to go into the cold, drive a few towns, talk to the guy AGAIN, wait in the waiting room, the tires to get loaded in my van, and not until I have my debit card out do I ever hear the words "$95 a piece". Never once was told $380. And then I'm at the pay counter, on the spot for $380. Pretty creative salesmanship getting me committed for the switcheroo at the pay counter. Not appreciated wasting my afternoon.
