I just wanted to share a story. In july last year the unthinkable happened to my 2012 mustang. The motor blew after 270,000 kms put on it by me. It actually would have went longer I'm sure but unknown to me, one of the gaskets went and i ran it low on oil. I'm a father of 5 and this car is used for work. I can't afford this. But thankfully i managed to scrape together enough and put in a used engine that i purchased from Arnprior and Ottawa auto. From the beginning i had some issues with the engine. I kept taking it to my mechanic week after week trying to figure out why i had a misfire code. In February of this year, the engine gave out and the timing chain went and destroyed the engine. I was devastated. I exhausted the little savings i had and was trying to find another engine. I called Scott and told him that the motor went. He looked around to try to find one for me but couldn't. The engine i bought was bought with a 3 month warranty and was out of warranty for 5 months. I didn't know what to do until Scott offered me half of what i paid for the original engine. He felt responsible and wanted to make it right. He said he was happy that i called and told him what had happened instead of badmouthing the company. I have been a client for years and will be for life. The world would be a better place if there were more people like this in it.Thank you for all you did.Sorry for such a long review but this had to be said.

Used to be an excellent place to find used auto parts and such, but no longer. There doesn't seem to much of a rush to help (or procure) small items off the automobiles rusting out in their yard, and since customers are no longer allowed to go out and look for these items themselves... Looks like a big loss of revenue to me! Wrecker lots are like going into a dollar store, you never walk out having spent only one dollar!Management said it was an insurance issue, but me, I'd happily sign a waiver, as I'm sure others would. Trying to explain obscure parts you know are on your car to someone who knows nothing about them is exhausting, and a waste of time cos you end up walking put empty handed anyway. But I know that if I were allowed to go out into the yard and look for myself, I probably wouldn't have left before collecting at least $50 worth of parts (probably more), and that's only one person on one day. But I guess that this company is so flush that selling $50 plus of obscure stock that otherwise would just sit there, to one customer, isn't worth their time. Oh, the good old days.
