Address:1950 E Dowling Rd, Anchorage, AK (Zipcode: 99507)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedMy son just tried to purchase a vehicle at Borman. They kept him there for 4 hours last week completing the purchase and trading in his car. Today he tried picking up his new car to be told the car had actually been sold, BEFORE he even came to the dealership 5 days ago!!!!!!! We added the vehicle to his insurance, removed the old vehicle, cleaned out the trade in, everything and they never had that car to sell him in the first place. Worst, they seemed to only care that he was sent home with a completely different car over the weekend; that he had already refused to buy. That seemed to be the whole reason for pretending to sell him the original car. Unprofessional bait and switch tactics from a company that's been in business as long as Borman. Now he has no car, wasted a week, wasted hours on the phone with his insurer and has to start the search all over. Borman, didn't even try to suggest to him that they would do anything special (discount or increased trade in value) toward a different vehicle to make up for their pulling the Bait & Switch and wasting a huge amount of our time.

Address:6161 Rosewood St, Anchorage, AK (Zipcode: 99518)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedHad an entire truck full of aluminum rims I brought from kasilof because they told me 51 cents per lb for aluminum rims. I have a scale at home for Weighing scrap, so before I make the long trip to anchorage I have a good idea of what I'm going to get paid. They did not let me see the weight on their scale which was odd to me, and they started grabbing my rims and weighing them while i was still unloading. I go inside to get my check and they listed my rims as a lower grade aluminum about 20-25 cents less per pound and underweighed me about 350 lbs from what I weighed on my scale at home. I also had a bucket of brass fittings that weighed about 25 lbs that didn't even show up on my receipt and they claimed to never have seen it. It was the first time I went there, and definitely the last. Very unprofessional and don't care about the customer. Instead of fixing the problem they argued with me about why they were right even tho it's not what they said on then phone when I called them before heading there. Shady operations and scummy tactics by the people who operate this joint. They butter you up and make it sound promising, and once they have your scrap, they kick you to the curb. Stay away from this place if your a metal scrapper
These people are really great !! I hade a very good experience with them. I be needed a passenger side window and they hooked me up The people are busy but are still pleasant and friendly ! Prices are worth the trip !! Make sure you call first. There's a lot of there lot 🤠 I will be checking with them First from now on.

Completely unprofessional and borderline useless company. I can't believe the Troopers and FPD call these crooks for stolen cars.

Address:5700 Camelot Dr, Anchorage, AK (Zipcode: 99504)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedI had a fantastic experience at Northwest Auto Parts over the past two days. As a first-time customer, I was a bit overwhelmed with the process of getting used studded tires, but Stephen was incredibly patient and helpful. Tires aren’t cheap, but he took the time to guide me through everything with such kindness. It’s clear that they have a team of great employees. Shout out to Shannon, who is also a real sweetheart. Thank you both for making the experience so easy and pleasant!”

Address:1307 30th Ave, Fairbanks, AK (Zipcode: 99701)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedManual labor jobs are as difficult as ever. Fairbanks has many itinerant residents who expect a lot from a small business because their lifestyle is the contrary. Rather than to bash, think about the supply chain and number of hands these parts pass into in order to get to the customer. As with most service industries, none of this gets appreciation but is crucial when it comes to the local landfills and an avoidance of new car lot sales. Perhaps, check your maintenance before arrival, if you dislike the norms which come with the territory, rather than bet that this exists for your convenience. If your ideas for reviews are subjective and negative, then consider whether the military can staff a locator service for a special discount or light speed options.

Address:401 W Chipperfield Dr, Anchorage, AK (Zipcode: 99501)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedUnfortunately this is the company responsible for moving salvaged/used vehicles. After several visits here's the lowdown: staff is always rude and are visibly frustrated that you might have questions. They're much happier staring at their computers while uttering basic commands for any questions you might have. *On a side note if you create an account you must religiously login or they will turn off your login ID. You won't be able to bid or inspect vehicles until you re-enroll. You can only look at the vehicles on Monday and Tuesday* But what should a person really expect when buying wrecked junk?
