Fantastic and well run operation. Fast service, friendly staff. Prices are fair and location is convenient. The best local place to cash in scrap metals and aluminum cans. Even better - yard is clean and well kept so in my opinion a much smaller risk of picking up debris in a tire.

I went there looking for match paint and even though they couldn't provide it they were very helpful in directing me to a place that could. I've bought many parts from NAPA and they've always been reasonably priced and of good quality even the replacement parts for my German cars.

Used to be one of my favorite go-to places for the longest time. Stopped by today and first I couldn’t even park in the front parking lot it was so full and crowded, then walked inside and barley any lights are on making the place quite frankly look rather uninviting as they clearly don’t even try to put any effort into the building anymore, and finally I’m told customers can’t go in the yard anymore to browse or pull parts. I was told “We don’t have that kind of insurance. Haven’t had that insurance in 3 years.” So turns out that’s when it must’ve changed owners. I presume due to the darn train yard being built making it harder to access, the old owners probably sold off to avoid going out of business due to losing the access/business from the main road. Couple foreign people working the counter weren’t very friendly. Sad to see how much the place went down hill from what I remember. I used to have good times and experiences there and almost always was able to make a good deal on parts with the old crew working there before the switchover. They look like they don’t even know what they’d actually have with how unorganized the place looks now. Guess from now on Amery Auto Salvage will be getting all my future business with their huge selection of cars, ability to go and browse the yard yourself still, and overall a pretty organized yard based off vehicle makes/models so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for. Oh, and they look much more inviting with plenty of room to park out front. I’ll miss New Richmond Auto Salvage and what it used to be with that nice small town, locally owned and operated feel it used to have. I had some great times going there as a kid with my old man when he was teaching me how to repair cars and bargain to get the good parts deals.

Sam, really helped me out getting discontinued ( brand new) parts for a 2002 Corvette Convertible. He really went above and beyond for us. Super nice guy, the half of Corvette ( salvaged )we purchased came with EVERYTHING we needed, we said when we'd be there he had the parts ready and waiting, He even helped load it! Amazing service, A quality parts. Up front and honest. I will defiantly refer Auto Works to everyone I know.

Well organized yard that is not muddy. Great place to get the part you want. It has been a couple years since the last visit and to use a wheelbarrow they require your ID which they keep and a refundable $20 deposit now. You dont get your ID back until you put your wheelbarrow back where you got it. That is new... also new is all inside employees are women. Their complete inventory is online with detais such as yard location and many with pictures so you can pre plan your visit. The online prices are a bit misleading. My two parts were $62 but the total was $102 after adding all of the fees and taxes. They add a guarantee fee, a core dee, an environmental fee, and tax all of that and it really adds up to almost double the cost! The staff is very helpful and friendly. This is one of the last few self serve yards. I like that you can set an alert for a vehicle type as they get new ones all the time.

I enjoyed the hell out of stopping here. So much fun and Kathy was such a great person to talk with. Enjoyed picking and buying such awesome stuff. We have been a customer for 3 years. We have a recycle and a trash dumpster here at our business. For the most part the service has been as quoted and has been fairly timely. HOWEVER last week I was plowing the snow from our lot. I parked the plow truck by the rear man door, to deactivate the alarm. As I walked into the shop the recycle truck pulled in, and pulled back out. When I called I was told that the dumpster was blocked... And it would be next week when they would return.... a month since last pick up... I explained that I was just inside the door, and was back out as the truck was still in the lot. The lady said "drivers do not get out of the truck, and look for people to move a vehicle".. Guess what... NO NEED to EVER look here again, we will find a new provider,,, porr service and poor customer retention policy...

I'd give this a better review and rating but its,hard to do when u can't ever get a hold of anybody there and when you do it takes several days to find out if they have what your looking for.

I like to support small family run business. Owner is behind the counter. I have been bringing my scrap here for over 35 years.

Customer service is poor with these guys. I get it your in the Garbage business but when you don't communicate with your customers and when they call about a complaint it goes in one ear and out the other. Garbage cans broken by them but they wont replace and no website to even get information. Poorly ran business and already switched to another company. BTW, if your name isn't on the account they try to side step you even though you pay the bill too.Service: House & garage cleanouts

They were extremely helpful here. I am so happy with my experience I just had. They didn't have one of the particular parts I needed but instead of just sending me on my way he helped me find the part and printed me off information about it. I am very happy with the service I received!

Best used parts shop by far. They have the parts off the car and ready to go! Which is a plus for anyone. Very friendly employees customer service is on point. I traveled from Menomonee falls to Racine because their prices are the best can't beat their prices. We normally go to lkq until today we will be regulars for this business. We dealt with Chris and he was very very helpful and we appreciate his great customer service.
