I recently returned a tire rim to this auto salvage yard for a refund after discovering it was defective. (rims tugged at the tire and caused damage) . Concerned , I brought it back and politely explained the issue expecting a courteous resolution. To my shock, the staff blatantly called me a liar to my face. Despite my calm and respectful approach. I have never had a practice of lying and had no reason to lie fin this case. I was able to get my refund back . I've never felt so humiliated as a customer at any establishment in all my 60 years. This experience was not only unprofessional but deeply upsetting. Needless to say , I will not be returning to this business and would advise others to think twice=e before purchasing here

I got a great price on a quarter panel and door for my son's car once before, but this time they said they had what I needed, and I spent an hour wandering around and never found it. They didn't have any of the dozen lanes of stacked cars marked, so it was pretty much a fruitless scavenger hunt.

called before we came down there and gave them the part number for the part we needed. And after several calls back to them to verify they had the right part. They said they had the right for sure and we sent a driver down there to get it. when the driver got back with the part it was not anywhere close to the part we asked for. They then told us they would find the right part and let us know when it was ready. 4 days later and 9 phone calls they finally say ohh we dont have it. When we sent our driver with the part to return it they refused. and said they didnt sell us the wrong part but in fact the electrical connectors and the buttons on it where different than the one we needed.

Gary and his wife were so helpful with me today, came to pick me up to show me a possible car purchased, it was not suitable for my need but they drove me back home and refused gas money...and made useful suggestions. Wonderful Texans, God bless Texans, God bless America. Geny Heywood

Had my truck die on a busy roadway at rush hour. Called my insurance roadside assistance. They told me an hour to an hour and a half for a wrecker to arrive. I looked up local wreckers and saw Claxton's was close. Called and had a wrecker within 10 minutes. They quickly loaded up my truck and took it to my residence. The driver was so good he was able to unload my truck under my carport. They were just as nice as could be. I was so relieved when I got a hold of them and they arrived so fast. If you are in the Ennis area and need a tow, look no farther than Claxton's.

Staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. They helped me out of a tough spot at 4:45 on a Friday night. Prices very reasonable. I highly recommend Dixie.

Called about a fender 3 months ago I saw on Car-Part.com and was told it was gone. No problem! Looked for the fender again last month, and they still show it in stock. Called again and asked them if they found it or if they forgot to delete from their inventory. I was told they didn’t delete it, but would now so it would not appear in searches. Looked again today…still there. Both times I called in I spoke with very rude folks trying to get off the phone. Short answers and not much info. I’d recommend the owners put their sales reps on commission and then you’ll see them take care of every caller.

Don was courteous and professional. He was patient as it took a little bit to get my insurance documentation printed. Had an overall good experience J & S Salvage & Repair.

They put an engine in my dads truck so my dad could drive it he never drove the truck because he’s been sick , he should’ve drove it to see if it worked but right off the back we had engine problems cylinder 1 and 3 were damaged and when my dad took it back they didn’t want to help him or even try to fix it. They told him it was a coil issue but it wasn’t, they also told me they don’t grantee everything in the engine which is very misleading. The motor was really damaged. If you’re going to get an engine swapped make sure you ask What they grantee specifically. My dad is not the person to argue with anyone but he let it go I just don’t think this is right.

Their parts are more expensive than the national chain parts store. But the quality of parts are far superior. They search for your parts by your VIN number, so you get the exact part you need the first time.

Great bunch of guys. Huge selection of vehicles for salvage. Literally tons and tons of great used parts. Now that I've found them...won't shop for parts elsewhere. Fair pricing. I'll go back for sure.
