These folks are so genuinely passionate about their business that their personalities just shine. They treated me and my small purchase as though I was a huge customer, plus giving me a unbelievable low price from the 60's.

Me and my buddy went here to look for a new grill, found one with paint chipping but decided it might be worth buying when i asked about the price he priced it at $45, to which i found the brand new part for $16 online.

Great place to shop for most anything to fabricate projects with. All metals, hardware etc. Brandon and crew are a great group to know and work hard managing the business and helping people with recycling many types of materials. Prices are clearly posted. Easy to load or unload. I have been visiting there regularly over the past 20 plus years.

Deceptive sales tactics and will not honor their warranties. UPDATE ! as everyone can see below I was instructed to call this phone number to get a resolution to the agreed upon warranty we had in writing. Of course they were only ready to make more excuses why they WILL NOT honor their warranty. They highlight and point out the fine print nobody can read without a magnifying glass right above the Bold typing that was the real agreement. They sold me a. 27000 MI engine that only lasted one year. Here in a public atmosphere they act like they want to make it right but over the phone they're laughing at you and telling you how out of luck you are. Choose Wisely people who you do business with!

I bought a red SUV years ago from him, and that was an awesome vehicle. That was on payments and he was fair to me, despite my ex being difficult who likes to cause problems between people.About 3 or 4 years ago my now husband and I broke down right in front of his driveway with our hearse, while driving by. He had the car brought in and helped us out at no charge. We had no money, nothing at the time.Now we just bought a work truck from him to haul hay and start our hotshot runs with. Never went to this scrap yard in Topeka. Had some stuff I dropped off that I won on purple wave. Nice clean facilities! They had the shredder metal in a nice neat pile. Scrap yard had concrete instead of dirt. So your vehicle wouldn't get stuck in mud and pick up hidden objects in the mud. The concrete was very nice to have. This place pays you through an ATM on your receipt after you've weighed your empty weight. Myself and another customer had trouble with the ATM. But employees there were very friendly and help you with the ATM machine so that you could get your money. The employees there were very nice and helpful! One gentleman seemed to be able to be in all areas at once with the forklift the non-ferrous metal room and the shredder metal pile and the ATM. I would recommend this place to anyone in the Topeka area that collect scrap metal. And I just wanted to let them know that their employees were very friendly and the gentleman that was running around the facilities helping us with the ATM guiding Us in the right direction and also making sure that the pile of 10 and Shredder feed was cleaned up so we could get our van and did an excellent job he deserves a raise!

Came in with 35 lbs of soda cans. Guy weighing said "minus 4" so I asked "for what". He said for the 6 dog food bags and one box they were in. I told him they didn't weigh even close to 4 lbs. So they took everything out and weighed the boxes and bags and they didn't even register on the scale, but still he said "minus 2"...I let it go. But when I get inside they only pay me for 31 lbs.All for $1. And the US average for aluminum right now is $0.59 per lbs and they only paid $0.26 per lbs.And they can't even pay for what I actually brought.I'm done getting robbed here.

I don't normally get my car parts from salvage yard due to how disrespectful the employees normally are, but that is NOT the case here. They run this place as a business, treat you as a paying customer, and will make things right. The prices are not bad, and they have a great inventory to choose from! Next time I need salvage parts; Chrismans will be the first place I check!

The receptionist is very unfriendly. We called for price of metal and she was very rude on the phone, but it got ten times worse in person. She was not pleased with the way the title was signed, so we went elsewhere and had no problems. She was not helpful and we will not be returning. Do not recommend to anyone.

If I could less than 1 star I would. All I needed to get my vehicle running again was this little diode that was discontinued by Ford. But even after agreeing to pay the $35 minimum for this part it wasn't worth the time for this place to go get it out of their 15 acre yard. This part was on many different vehicles and is easy to obtain. But not worth the time for this place. Asshole joke.
