The entire attitude of this place has changed. In the 6 years I've been in Casper. Clean office and workspace. The yard has always been decently organized. And the office and yard guys are good to work with. Salvage yards are typically going to get my business if they have the parts I need, but it's definitely a pleasant surprise when it's an efficient and friendly experience!

Amazing people. Aaron went out of his way above and beyond to help in time of need. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

The people who work in the building are not friendly at all, they treat you as if they were giving you the vehicles. From the reception to the person who delivers the car they are not friendly at all, that is why I give them one star.

Nice place. Super friendly people. Always willing to help me. My boys love going here! And the employees are super nice to them too. Will show them how a car of crushed and other cool stuff. My 13 y.o. and his friend thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I normally don't write reviews on Google, but I received the worst service I ever have at this place. I called Ruben's Metals earlier in the day to make sure that they had the item I was seeking in their scrap yard. During that phone call, they told me that they had it and negotiated a price that I would buy the item for. After we agreed on the price, I took a 25 minute drive to the location. After bringing out the item, the owner then refused to accept the price that we had previously agreed on. Instead, he would only accept twice that amount (and he knew that I had driven 25 minutes to buy this item). Not really a good strategy to win customers..

Awesome people down there. Didn’t have the part I was looking for but talked to me for awhile about where I could find it online and who he trusted to buy from. Was super helpful in dealing with my pickup even though he wasn’t getting anything out of it… could’ve just said “don’t got the part” and left it at that. Thank you to whoever I talked to earlier, you’ll get future business from me when I need something else!

I would give them no stars. They are nothing but thieves. I got into an accident they were the ones that showed up and charged me $800 to take my vehicle away from me. I should have realized it more the time that they were screwing me over but I had just got into an accident. I'll admit it at the time I was not all there. They took advantage of that. Took my truck and a good amount of money from me. I would not recommend using these people at all.

The experience I had at Washakie Garage and Auto Salvage was incredible! One of the owners came down to Thermopolis to tow my vehicle to a local shop to replace the fuel pump only because I couldn't get the retaining ring off of the top of the gas tank to gain access. After a quick chat he offered to tow my car to his shop about 30 miles north of Thermopolis and allowed me to use his tools at no charge. Along with Jeremy, their mechanic's expert knowledge and extra muscle, I was able to gain access and replace the fuel pump. They were so kind as this was the first stop on a 21 day road trip with my family. I would highly recommend Washakie Garage and Auto Salvage to anyone looking for a tow or vehicle service!Service: Vehicle wrecking

Did a great job on sales. I purchased a teanaue. The installation was a little off, dug into the plastic on the bed and had to take my side rails off. But happy so far.

I called them trying to work for them, and he politely let me down, wasn't rude. I know a lot of times people will post when they have awful experience, and I was rather nervous about calling, but pretty nice over the phone.

Great company, I've been to all three of their locations and they're always willing to help and they always greet you with a smile and a welcome in. Knowledgeable and helpful team, came in for a transmission and left with one same price I was quoted upon entry. They also make sure to suggest taking a picture of your receipt just in case you lose it. Great group of gentlemen.

They pay a 1/3 to 1/2 less than the national average. So, update, my kids save cans for extra money, brought in 90lb of cans, were told that being there was maybe a ball of aluminum foil per bag, they gave them 78 lbs of tin and 12 lbs of aluminum and got $5. Thanks for screwing kids over!

Nice selection and GREAT prices. The reason I gave so few stars, is they DO NOT follow the hours they have posted. Often, even though the hours signs indicate that they SHOULD be open, THEY ARE NOT. This IS NOT an isolated case. This has been happening over the last year at least. On SEVERAL occasions they WERE NOT open for at least a week at a time, that I know of for a FACT. And I'm not saying they didn't open right at time posted, I mean I went there after they should've been open for an hour at least. Or they shouldn't be closing for at least another hour. And NO it wasn't around "lunch time", most of the time. That being said, IF toucan catch them open, they have GREAT staff, prices, and can get you just about ANYTHING, and at prices you REALLY can't belive till you get it, and find they were RIGHT!!
