The guy here literally wanted 100 dollars for a USED AC vent. The same part costs 60 dollars NEW from the dealership. What a bunch of clowns. Hope this business goes under because they are charging ridiculous prices for used parts. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JUNKYARD. eBay had way better prices and you don’t even have to deal with removing the parts yourself

Higgins Auto Parts is one of the if not the cleanest auto recycling/wrecking yard there is! They have great quality parts and stand by their customers! Their warranty program is unbeatable. They have a standard 6month warranty on every single part that leaves their facility. If you want to get an extended warranty with them, not a problem at all! They offer a 1 year, 2 year, & 5 year warranty on their parts for an extra cost, but it is meant to protect your investment. They also have a labor warranty in place that allows customers to receive a labor check on the installment of their vehicles if it is purchased. The way it was explained to me, if you need labor coverage and it is $1,000 they will only charge a quarter of what is needed for the labor coverage. In this case it would be $250.00. If you need any OEM parts for your vehicle or a vehicle that is at your shop, do not hesitate to bring these guys business. They do a phenomenal job from start to finish! Their parts are high quality and have been providing great quality and awesome customer service since 1951! People are not perfect obviously but no matter what part I am looking for they are always willing to help! These people are fantastic! If you run into a problem at all, they are always willing to help out!

Excellent people. They helped me get the front end parts I needed for my 2007 Toyota Tacoma. Not only did they give me a better deal then other local junk yards but they even offered to install it on my truck free of charge! Thanks again Dan.

Customer service is very poor and prices are VERY high for an auto dismantler. I reached out to them through email with no response so I tried calling them. I was told I’d get a quote within an hour. Three days later I called back and they hadn’t started my quote. They wanted to sell me a front bumper for $1000.

Horrible business practices and utterly despicable customer service. The clerk on the phone was extremely rude and arrogant and unwilling to help lookup the part. Then hung up the phone abruptly and refused to answer the phone again. Went into the business and the same clerk refused service for no reason. I recommend steering clear of this business.

Bill has worked on my car both of my parents cars, all 3 of my local brothers cars and I recommend him to friends because he is honest and trustworthy and if it doesn’t need to be done he doesn’t fix it if it needs to be fixed he recommends and tries to work things out so you can get the repairs needed!! He & his crew are awesome heck we had an issue on a car him and his crew came to the house and he even comes to pick me up to get my car so great customer service!!

These people are dishonest!!! They will text you a price in phone and at arrival they will increase it as a last minute decision. Don't waste your time

A hidden gem for folks like me with an older model vehicle. Cheaper to get a salvage part than brand new, especially if it's body panels or other non-mechanical pieces.

This place does not deserve even one star. CHEAT! CHEAT! CHEAT!We used 2 different types of scales at home to weigh plastics bottles and aluminum cans. We got there before they were closed. My husband did not read about pounds and prices before signing the sheet, just got cash after correcting their calculation. I noticed the money we got quite a bit less than our calculation based on the weight we weighed at home. I walked back telling that guy that the weight was so much lighter than we weighed at home. The guy (with accent) became furious immediately screaming at us, said his scale was accurate and refused to re weigh the bottles and cans. The previous review said they probably did not do a good math. I believe they do this purposely. Other than they cheat you in weight, they also calculated wrongly if you don’t do math fast enough and correct them.I don’t know if there are reputable recycling centers exist. Possibly do not exist in Santa Clara county but AVOID THIS PLACE! We will try other recycling places in San Jose to see whether those places cheat as well.
