I just wanted to share an experience we had here. We had a lot of lead to recycle so I called around town to see the prices they were paying. These guys quoted me at the highest rate. We rush in at 430 on a Friday and they allowed us to drop a LOT of lead off that close to the end of the day. A few mistakes were made and we got a phone call a few days later saying they made a mistake on what they quoted us. It was about 8 times more than its worth. We had already committed to a few people a commission for doing it which changed that drastically. Incredibly , they kept their original quote. They showed an incredible amount of integrity that we don't see much anymore. It was very refreshing

The owners of Journey were incredibly easy to work with after my car was in an accident. They are super friendly, very easy to get ahold of, honest, and very helpful. The only thing to be mindful of is they are located off of a rural road so if you are traveling there in the winter make sure your car can handle that. We got stuck but thankfully they helped us out of that situation too! :)

I have recently needed hard to find parts for a couple of older vehicles. They had the parts in their system, they shipped them to my local location and they were very polite and professional.

It's the best recycling center in the area with the lowest contamination rate. That being said, people still drop in filthy containers and trash and other items that aren't acceptable.**Everything should be rinsed out, PLEASE.** Otherwise, what's the purpose? It brings contamination from 🐀.Accepted: flattened cardboard *emptiedplastic tubs, bottles and jugs with 1,2,5 symbol. Aluminum cans, paper, glass. Soft plastic is also taken in a separate bin.Not Accepted: styrofoam, egg cartons, hard plastic packaging, trash, to-go containers or cups, tissue, napkins, pots.If in doubt, ASK the attendants! Keep this the BEST recycling center in Oregon! Great place to find parts for a variety of older vehicles

I work there and inventory the cars as they come in so the counter guy can search our computer system for the parts. The guys on the counter are quite friendly and will search for the parts the customers need. And if we don't happen to have that part in stock we will check the computer to see what other companies using the same system might have it. We then will simply get the phone number and directions to the other businesses. We are usually quite helpful in getting parts for people. The pricss we charge for used tires to various parts of cars is usually less than other places. We have a limited number of employees who are going to either take the customer out to a vehicle that matches their needs and see if the customer is willing to pay for it, or will simply spend a while to go pull the parts for the customer. Most people have stated that it was well worth the time to get the part they needed for a very reasonable price.

Please do not be misled by the positive reviews, they were paid or just simply do not have a life and can afford for their precious time to be wasted!!! I made an appointment days ago to purchase 4 new tires for my Acura (so pretty pricey) and an alignment. They fail to tell me that a 30 minute alignment would take 3 hours bcus the only mechanic has to answer the phones and make appointments!!! So what are the 2 ladies at the front desk doing if he does it all??? Very unprofessional!! Will never return and never recommend!! Trust me your hard earned money would be well spent elsewhere!!

Well I needed a rush part literally the last thing I was waiting on to get my car back together. Bought from their eBay store because they were localish grants pass to Portland… placed the order on the 10th ( it said it would be delivered 15-18th) they didn’t even drop the part off in the mail until the 14-15th… fast forward to the 19th the part is now in Colorado and I’m still waiting. Prob a great place to order parts if you don’t care when they show up. My experience has been very unprofessional ( can’t even cancel late order because atleast their eBay store doesn’t accept returns ). To give perspective Portland and grants pass are a 4.5 hour drive. And I have been waiting 9 days for a part they “ had in stock”. Fingers crossed in get the part in the next 5 days . Don’t get me wrong I get shopping difficulties come up …. But they took 4-5 days to even drop the part off in the mail.

Always helpful when I need them. I had one awful experience here and I almost didn’t come back but I’m glad I did. Like any business you learn who to go to.

Very nice and professional; they were able find an ECU I was struggling to get. They got the part to me very quickly and it works great. I will be doing more business with them in the future.

Great pricing and help in the yard, the 3 stars is only for the non-ferrous scale; there is a language/communication barrier and I always leave confused but they put it in the computer right and know what they're doing

Excellent service!!!! Had bought tires from walmart but found it impossible to get a appointment to have them mounted and balanced! With the winter weather coming on full force I started calling all tire shops around town only to be told they were done for the day and it was first come first serve. Then to my rescue the gentleman from Prineville Tires & Wheels called me back to say that he had the time if I could come in! This was at 4:30pm! Yay! 30 minutes later tires mounted and balanced and I'm Home Town Happy!!
