Saturday I went to purchase wipers. I asked the sales Representative if he would install them. He said no. He was sitting behind the counter doing nothing. Would never go back to this location.

Staff at Kleeman are amazingly courteous, professional, and honest. I brought my vehicle in for electrical problems. The solution apparently was very simple and, as a result, my bill was for only a small amount of labor and no parts. I am grateful to have a service shop I can trust and which I even enjoy visiting. Thank you, Kleeman Service Center!

I think it's absolutely ridiculous and bad business to close it down without letting your regular customers know. Some of us counted on this scrap yard and have been devoted customers .. then your only answer when asked is ," you can drive to hartford" ....um no we can't if we could go that far we wouldn't be at the junkyard.

It’s my Favorite metal management site to go to, Staff is Super Friendly & it’s quick inn & out services. I Recommend to my co- workers that I work with because we Touch of lot of Metal from the Fire Sprinkler Industry & They give Great Rates for Metal & Brass !!!

Good place to recycle metal materials and maybe get back a few dollars. Some people like to shop there too. Brass and copper is worth around a dollar per pound. Steel much less, like .05 to .10 cents per pound for old electric motors. Better than throwing it in to landfill. I found an decorative grate and a lightning rod.

With my company I go to a lot of scrapyard this one by far is the worst one I have ever been to the lady at the front desk is the rudest person I've ever met completely miserable with herself so take it out on your customers the guy at the scale was just as rude as the lady at the front desk if you're miserable with your job find somewhere else to work If it wasn't for people bringing you guys scrap they won't be in business

Yesterday, I totaled my car. It’s the first time I’ve been in an accident where my car couldn’t be fixed, and I was at a loss as to how I should deal with it.After getting some guidance, I called this junk yard and spoke with Mark. He was pleasant, courteous, and explained exactly what I’d need to do in order to junk my car.We settled on a time for someone to come pick my car, and they were right on time 😊 The gentleman who came to pick up my car was professional and also explained what the next steps would be after my car was taken.As for a side surprise, I was offered $300 for junking my car with them. Blew my mind that was even a thing! 😧I rarely write reviews, so I need to of had a really good experience somewhere in order to comment on it publicity. I can’t speak for other junk yards because I don’t have any previous experience, but I can definitely say that Elm City treated me very well.

My gutter contractor told me to go to Nichols, as that is where he goes to sell The used copper gutters that he salvages from the jobs he does. He told me they pay $3.40/lbs dirty copper gutters and $3.65 for cleaned and shiny copper gutters. I called Nichols to confirm this price which they did. I drove out from New Haven to Clinton and when I got there, they were going to give me $1.60 per pound. They are a bait and switch operation. Stay away from this place. I called several other places after this and sold my copper gutters for $3.45/lb.

Very friendly and quick. Been to a lot of scrap yards, by far they are the quickest. Nothing beats fair cash. Highly recommend.

I had a fantastic experience today with this company, they took my dad's old car. Driver is really professional i think his name is leony but I'm not sure! the car was really hard to be taken for it being behind our house, but he took the car without any difficulties. if he isn't the top best driver of the company, then he is one of the best !!
