With my company I go to a lot of scrapyard this one by far is the worst one I have ever been to the lady at the front desk is the rudest person I've ever met completely miserable with herself so take it out on your customers the guy at the scale was just as rude as the lady at the front desk if you're miserable with your job find somewhere else to work If it wasn't for people bringing you guys scrap they won't be in business

I was pleasantly surprised to cash in a bunch of stuff from my fathers garage after his recent passing. I have been trying to help my mom clean up before she moves into a smaller house and we were clueless how this scrap business worked. I wanted to be sure we got the best prices for everything so I called ahead and spoke to a nice lady about how everything worked. She explained that we should separate our different metals and bring them in a box or bucket. The gentleman at the scale that weighs the metal was very nice. We didn't know alot about the types of metals but he showed us how to sort everything. I had a good experience with this place and got a decent amount of money considering most of the stuff we had was either going to be brought to the dump or donated to Goodwill. I'm sure the next time we clean out the house it will be a little easier now that we know what we are doing and they will definitely have a repeat customer

Was my first time there. Guy working the yard/scale was extremely rude/disrespectful because I didn't know their process and had to ask prior to unloading and was in no way helpful .Woman working in office was nice enough to deal with though

Not sure why the bad reviews. My experience was great. The guy in the back helped me with things, and explained what went where. The girl out front gave me way more money than I was expecting for my junk. I'll be back again.

That place has the worst service. They have you do all their work and pay you pennies for metal. If you bring more than one metal you will confuse them and they will not pay you what its worth. Rethink going there and find another scrap yard.

The other day I went there for the first time with 300 lbs of light metal and got $27 not worth the back pain or gas. If you have to clean your garage or yard then go for it anything is better than nothing but it's close to nothing

They gave good price for scrap. Office lady was nice. The yard dude was only a little surly, lol.

Great place to sell scrap. Unsure why there are bad reviews. I have been there quite a few times always quick and very helpfull and they always have given me great prices on my scrap never going thru the hassle and the long waits in waterbury also pretty sure they pay better prices also.

Not worth your time or gas most days. Low prices and poor attitude at checkout. Some of the guys are helpful in the yard, but usually it's just a hassle and waste of gas. Go to Albert Bros. Or Watertown...
