I stood in line for two and a half hours just to pick up a title! This is wild! Only two workers and there are 5 empty seats where workers should be! A stupid waste of time! Such companies should be forced to pay for the time they spend due to a lack of workers!!!

I had my car towed here after an accident. I could not go to collect my stuff because I could not take work off so we sent a list of everything that needed to be mailed. Now a month and a half later all I’ve received was sunglasses, a charging cord, and the license plate (which we had to call multiple times to get them to mail). Everything else in my car like my ez pass and shoes are supposedly “missing”. Tried to call but customer service was rude and abrasive. Incredibly disappointed

Be prepared to have the worst experience of your life here. Not only will you have to deal with the stress of retrieving your car, The manager Anthony will gladly ruin your day. We were presented with our car destroyed, all personal items thrown into the truck. Cups that were in the cup holder spilled soaking everything. Brought the concern to Anthony the manager he advised we write the damages on a piece of paper and they are only responsible for destroying items apparently. Good luck here I recommend having your vehicle towed elsewhere

The people who work in the office and who answer the phones are so well trained and awesome. Ashlee is a 10 out of 10 in niceness. She is just as beautiful inside as she is outside. The staff outside were so professional and proficient. I've never seen such fast smooth great forklift work ever. It made me think of switching my career. ;)

My insurance company chose this place as it was to be evaluated by an insurance representative from a recent accident. my personal belong and accessories that were stolen out of my car. about 3k worth! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE! Nothing but crooks and thieves. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! CROOKS, ROBERS AND THIEVES. Not to mention they trashed and broken stuff within my car. This isn’t over…..God will have the last say in this matter

I have the unfortunate luck of having to come by this lot on a weekly basis for cars that I buy. Every time is a new level of low when it comes to customer service. They take so long that I choose to just go take a nap in my car in hopes that I’m next when I wake up… to my surprise, the wait time typically goes up instead of down after I’m done napping 😆 management here is terrible and they only ever use 2 clerks when there space for 6

Long wait times. Employees everywhere talking, but no one asked how can they assist. After I checked in, I stood in what I thought was the line. No direction, no acknowledgement towards anyone that was there. There were other customers that walked in after me and were immediately taken care of. Customer service is NOT their virtue

If there would be a zero, they would get zero. I purchased a vehicle from there and was misled. I bought it as run and drive car but the cv axle was missing which makes this car not drivable at all. I did not accept it, left it at the yard and requested refund. Never happened. The manager Matt Fogleson admitted in one of the emails the car came to copart the way I bought it, which make it not drivable. The cv axle is ripped out of the car making this deemed not drivable. They are misleading customers. I think they dont even know what cv axle is. After doing some research I know I am not the only one dealing with their crap. On top of that they are charging me storage for the car I don't own, I don't even have the title for it. Real jerks!

Terrible service, everything is long and inconvenient, you can wait half a day for a car, 2 hours for a title, only 2 employees in the office during rush hour with 6 windows

If you are going here to get stuff out of your car after a bad crash- be prepared to be super frustrated and get ready to wait over three hours to do so. Everything is super disorganized, they are totally understaffed and the local DMV runs smoother than this place.

Asia and another female worker with arm tattoos were both very polite and helpful. 3 stars because it took a half hour just for the one of the forklift drivers to realize that he still needed to get my car so I could grab my belongings.

This is the worst place. There are 6 service desks, but only one is working. There are more than 20 people in line, and there isn’t a single chair to sit on. One person cannot handle serving everyone on time. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had.

I won a truck from Copart, that I was going to use for body parts(roof). When I went to pick it up there was a huge hole on the roof that they didn't take a picture of. I emailed the manager Greg the pictures and when I asked him that I want my money back because the damages were not photographed he said that he can not do anything about it. When I asked him why pictures of the this huge damages are not taken he said "I don't know." Be careful when you are bidding on equipment located at Yard 36 in Bartlett, IL

This place has gone from bad to worst.. the quee time it's to slow , employees are very rude the latino females .. and it's unacceptable that the time instead of going down goes up.. keep talking and walking away from desk . Requested a complaint from they called a person that said he was the manager( I don't believe he was because one of the girls was telling what to do about a key not found for another customer, she told the customer I write on the papper no key and that's it) when I Requested a manager they started to talk back to me when I was telling the manager the issue.. That is not acceptlable for a customer service front desk worker. She ask me for the member number and walked away. I understand they are busy but keep the flow ad another memeber to the front desk to help customer. it's looking. like Chicago south. While I was explaining my frustation she was laughing that is very rude.. I think the name of that person it's Alicia. then the friend a curly latino girl gave me a dirty confronting look.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I Had my vehicle towed here for inspection before going to a body shop and the car was held there for 2 weeks because the facility kept making excuses why they couldn't move it and when it finally got to the body shop I found items missing and my belongings thrown on the trunk. IF YOUR CAR GOES HERE REMOVE ALL YOUR ITEMS THEY WILL STEAL WHATS VALUABLE.

So editing my 5 star review after 5 years. Unfortunately to 0 stars So many thins changed What used to be a 20 min pay and pickup now is a 4 hour ordeal. Whoever thought this new and improoved system/app was gonna help was very wrong. I literally sat in the lobby for over an hour to pay becase I didnt have an appointment and maybe 3-4 guys were served in that time. There were times when im sitting there all alone and ladies still woldnt help me. When it was my time to pay I was told I need another appointment to pickup but the lady said I was lucksince they had one open spot left for that day. Just about 3.5 hours later. I was told I shoulf have made an appointmet to pickup first because if you choose pay then the app doesnt prompt you to check if I also would like a pickup. So if you're not a regular and dont know the small details you will learn the hard way. SECONDLY IF YOU'RE THE YARD EMPLOYEE PLEASE STOP STEALING THE BASGES FROM CARS You're causing more damage that its worth My almost brand new Toyota GR86 had all of the badges stolen Yes I can replace the trunk badge but the trunk itself was scratched no needs to be re-sprayed. That part of the car was perfect and did not need any work Badge from the grill was stolen and grille was heavily scratched BUT THE WORST ONE WAS THE STEERING WHEEL That badge was is not available so I need a new steering wheel Very expensive hope you happy with yor souvenirs

TERRIBLE PLACE! DO NOT LET STATE FARM TELL YOU YOUR CAR NEEDS TO GO HERE FOR ASSESSMENT OR AN APPRAISAL! You can take it to a body shop or they can assess it at your residence. Copart came and picked up my car (which was still running and driving fine after the accident) and the tow truck driver just drove my car right up on the wheel lift and we heard a loud metal clank. We didnt know it at the time but he cracked the aluminum oil pan. When it made it to the yard they wrote leaks oil on the windshield. It sat in the driveway for 5 days after hitting the deer and didnt leak a drop. We bought the car back and found this out after inspecting the car when they brought it back to us. Also, when they slapped the magnetic tail lights on the roof I was shocked it didnt leave dents. We called Copart and the rep said they will not cover the cracked oil pan because it was leaking when it was checked in. We told them it was from the tow truck driver but they didnt care. WE EVEN HAVE PICTURES! These drivers are butchers and dont care about your vehicle. I could have drove the car to the yard with no extra damage. Its very sad when your company is that big that no one cares about the people they service. Someone was also nice enough to steal the pendant that was hanging on the rear view mirror. It had sentimental value to us. We forgot to remove it but we knew we were buying the car back and they said it was in a "secured" area so we trusted them. Im glad we pulled out the brand new headlights otherwise I'm sure they would have broke them or stole them. Never ever will one of my vehicles go there for an appraisal. Just a bunch of lying, stealing butchers. Shame on State Farm for using this company. I wish I could give them negative stars but I had to give 1 star to post this.

Make sure to clean your personal items before tow your vehicle. Do not trust them because they stole your everything as careless. They don’t care who you are.

Customer service is very friendly. Compliments to who answers phones and the young lady at the desk. They need a manager running customer flow. They also need better operational signage directing customers inside. This is a 1 star for no leadership present here. If you can choose, deal with a different lot. I will complain to my tow yard and my insurance. Hopefully they stop referring to Copart. You walk in and you can’t tell who to talk to, where to stand, the online check in process doesn’t work. No one appears in charge and it took over 3 hours to get a car looked at. I could manage this place better with my 11 year old in charge. Again, customer service people were nice, but I had to step out of the office and call in order to get direction. Just because it’s a tow yard, a seemingly relaxed place, doesn’t mean there should be a lesser standard of service and timeliness.

You make an appointment, you come in advance, you go into the office again, you make an appointment, and you still wait, despite the fact that there is no queue. There are 6 cash desks, only 2 of them work. They let their acquaintances out of the queue, where the authorities are looking is not known

Spent a month telling my insurance they didn't have my car. Now that they finally realized they do have it, after driving an hour to get her I've been waiting for an hour just to talk to someone so I can grt my stuff from. The most inefficient company I've ever had to deal with.

I would highly advise people to avoid this place. I was in an accident a few months ago, and my insurance company had my car towed here before it was taken to the repair shop. Coparts took off my license plates from my car, and proceeded to “lose” them. I called and they said they checked around the shop but they couldn’t find them, claiming they were “probably lost in one of the buckets”. I feel safe to assume that they illegally sold my license plates to make a quick buck. I have since reported my plates stolen to the police. They were unhelpful and dismissive. Do NOT trust

There is a really bad service with these guys when they take your car they dig into everything and take all your property. If you left something in there also they rip off the plates mess it up the bumper and the screws everything and you call them and they say they’re not responsible for anything.

5 hours of waiting for a car to be delivered, appointment at 12pm and delivery at 5pm, and it repeats every time you go, and the cars come more damaged than they say!
