I can confidently say that I will never be doing business with D&D during this lifetime. First, they lowballed me on their offer. They said between 280-300 dollars on a four door car. Which still runs and has a half a tank of gas. I was quoted 500 in PGH and then 400 in Atlanta, and that’s Atlanta. Then they said they HAVE to have a title. You deal with scrap metal and vehicles and can’t navigate a scrap title. How incompetent are y’all? Truly.

Very friendly employees that work at D&D Auto Salvage. They're willing to explain what the different types of metals you have and make it easy to deal with. They have a small scale for more valuable metals like brass, aluminum and copper. Then a large scale you drive up on with your vehicle with metals such as tin and cast iron. Highly recommend you break down and separate your metals to get the most money in return. They pay cash and get you in and out as fast as possible. Definitely the best scrap yard in the area.

The people there were really nice. It was our first time here. They gave us lots of tips on how to get more money for our scrap. And according to someone else in the price of tin was higher than at another place.

If you need Auto Parts, check here FIRST! They had Exactly what I needed! Every customer (5 People in front of me) waiting in the office also received what they needed. All patrons satisfied in a very timely manner. I can't say enough to express how they impressed me. I also have to mention their 6 Month warranty on all parts. A+++++

Told the lady in the office i had 300 pounds of cast steel parts before getting on the scale. Realised too late they wrote it up as "tin" at a lower price. Convenient and relatively spacious setup. Quick process. 3 stars because at least it didnt take them all day to cheat me.

Service is excellent here as the guys and girls are always helpful and pleasant. Maneuvering in the yard can be a little difficult at times, but it isn't too big a hassle if you're not an idiot. Scrap prices are on the low side of market average, but it's one of the easier salvage yards in which to get weighed, dump, get paid and get back to the job site.

D & D have been wonderful and fair....employees are kind and considerate and thank you for your visit. My daughter and I have been going here since she was 11..she knows everyone there; and at times my daughter would sit and talk to the staff while I go back and dump my load. Michelle and all the office staff have been careing and thoughtful of me whenever I come in. The small scale staff are the greatest. They immediately, if there not already with a customer, help me remove all of my precious metals from my truck. The machine operator guys are so helpful when I need steel removed. I can't forget the man who has been so, so personable, careing, patient, helpful, considerate of everyone. Well I will say " He's the Man" BUZZ... He's the greatest..I can't imagine not coming to D & D and not having a conversation with him. He's always there to make your unloading easier, and thanks you for bringing your metal to D & D. It's a pleasure to go to a business and they know your name and treat you like you are special and a part of them. The entire staff are amazingly remarkable and God sent.😅😅😅😅😅

Everybody from the office to the yard as always been helpful Buzz at the 10 pile as one of the nicest guys you'll meet always helps me unload when I can't get it myself. I went here to recycle steel. I don't know enough to compare and judge the price they offer per pound so I'll focus on my experience which was positive. The employees, especially the crane operator, were all very helpful. As you arrive stick to the left side of the compound keeping the river on your left as well. Drive all the way back until you see the drive-on scales. When the light turns green, drive on the left hand scale and stop. The light will turn red while you are on there. Once it turns green again drive all the way back sticking to the left until you hit a crater in there middle of the road with a crane on the right. Dump all your scrap in the hole (watch you don't pop a tire). Return the way you came in, and this time drive on the scale closest to the building. They will way your car again and pay you in cash through the window. Have your ID the first time you go, and if you are recycling a car make sure you have the title.

TIP: Walk into the office and ask to have your scrap assessed before weighing in if you have anything other than 'tin'. TIP: Only scrap one kind of metal at a time, otherwise, you are only getting paid for bulk scrap at the price of 'tin'. TIP: Stay to the left and weight in to begin, then drive all the way back to throw your scrap away. Weight your vehicle out by approaching the pay window on the way out. TIP: Watch where you drive, there is lots of glass on your drive to the dump sight.

Scrapping copper tubing? Make sure it's not mixed with any other metals even solder if you expect to get the #1 copper price. Happy scrapping!
