My neighbor contractor just took in 10 car batteries got a 100 bucks I had 8 few small ones others were big and got 23 bucks first and last time was going to take about 1600 lbs of bright copper there Saturday will take to my usual place around the corner I'm a contractor this place not worth your time.

I should have known that there was a reason why no one else was there turning in scrap..... I just got screwed big time. I weighed everything before I left the house, and I had 15 pounds of bare bright copper. They paid me for #1 and stated I only had 6 pounds. I would have taken my scrap back and waited to go to new world on 5th, but they had thrown all my scrap into their bins before giving me my ticket. Not only did they short me on weights, but they also paid me 1 grade lower for everything that I turned in. Also, the prices they did pay were way below new world. By what I weighed at home and what new world pays me, I would have made around 140. There, I only got 41 bucks. I've weighed my scrap before and taken it to new world and made more money than expected. Lesson learned, I'll never be back to this place Quick response to the owner, if a wire is stripped down to the core and there is no longer any insulation left on it, bare copper, would that not be bright, shiny, beautiful copper? As for my work ethic, I work 3 jobs, 7 days a week, so that I can help the people out who are unable to work and are unable to provide. Since I will never waste my time visiting your place of business, I could care less what you think.

They were very polite and helpful. They had a new way of payment. You get your money off of there own ATM machine. Great scrap prices also. I would definitely recommend this company .

Well definitely not satisfied that there is an incorrect number posted for a business. The first review is pretty interesting, honestly I would like to hear a further explanation. The last thing anyone needs is to be harassed when trying to make ends meet truly honest innocent efforts to put food on the table should never come with more negativity than needed

First time there. Had a good experience.The ATM machine looks like one I used to use in the 1970’s. Got rid of old General 52” rip capacity table saw. They weighed the saw in my car and re-weighed my car with the saw removed. Made enough for a cheap date night with my wife

This is a great place .We have gone here for a while now. And its very consistent. The workers are friendly and very knowledgeable. They help in whatever way they can. And from the previous replies the worker in the window is very nice and helpful. My wife just loves how nice she is. She was also new and was being trained on how to do her job. But she puts up with alot of stupidity as well so i dont find her rude at all. And the "mexican" that works in the drive thru spot has a name . and he as well puts up with alot of stupid ignorant ppl who is trying to make just one more little dollar for lord only knows what they blow it on. They get busy and u are expected to help unload and take ur items to the correct box or bins . its not his job to unload all ur metal for u.. Why would u expect him to anyways??? Hes one of the best workers there. Anyways this is a great friendly place ... I enjoy seeing each and everyone of them when i do go in. . they know me by name and that for sure says something especially with all the. Crazy obnoxious rude ppl they see everyday trying to either get over on them to get an extra buck or just be down right mean. So thank u all for all the help. Keep up the good work

My husband works as a mill Wright and brings home like extension cord wiring and wiring from Conveyor system all kinds the wiring And I searched around and a lot of places don't offer as much as You guys do for 1 and 2 I love the fact that it's a drive-through 3 you do not have to strip the wire to get a decent price on it Also the gentleman that weighs the recycling actually Grabbed all of the wire that was in my trunk for me he did not make me do it myself he told me I will Get this For you ma'am!Fast and great customer service thank you very much guys keep up the good work!

This is the worst junkyard in the city the people who work there are terrible to deal with, the yard in the back is a mess and the wait is unbearable. Was there for am hour and a half just unload i would rate this place 0 stars if I could. You would be better off going to New World on 5th

Great place to scrap and make quick money but .... the lady at the pay window is very rude and the Mexican guy in the precious metals wants you to do his job for him after he weighs the metal he wants you to throw it in the boxes so be don't have to work ... no bueno amigo !

I had so much insulated copper, but he said it had steel in it and he added 15 jumper cables with the copper for weight. Not happy with that place.

Aviod at all cost it's a maze to navigate and u will be rejected on the other end cuz of to much steel in the aluminum
