HIP was recommended to me by a fellow Euro car enthusiast. They sell high quality (OEM or equivalent) parts for European cars at good prices. Many things are in stock and they can order what isn't. I have yet to visit in person but their parts guys are super helpful over the phone. They were able to confirm they had the part I needed for my AMG and deliver it to my mechanic in a hurry. Good selection of parts, good prices for a local store, you can't compete with online. They carry nice oem parts like brake pads and rotors. Tons of oem brands aisin Bosch denso. I check here first before I go to those franchise parts places. That is if I can't wait for them to come in from online or won't ship to Hawaii.

Generally very comparable to online prices but they'll often surprise you with what they have on hand ready to go and if they don't, they can get it for you with a much faster turnaround than online shopping. Very friendly and straightforward staff as well.

I've shopped at Hawaii Import Parts on and off throughout the years. They're not the cheapest in town, but they do have special Parts in specially for European cars which I like to drive. Very friendly staff when I shop there today. They put on my rear wiper for me and even help me figure out replacement light bulb installation for my BMW.
