My vehicle just died on me and I thought it was my battery so I changed it and it started back up, however was told maybe I should check my alternator. So I was told to see these guys at Maui Rebuild Starters, and from beginning to end they were amazing! From Kamaka who made sure I was ok the minute I walked in, and then Ruben the owner who helped me change out a battery I just bought and let me use one of his so I could drive home and not worry about a tow or renting a car. Ruben then told me to call a mobile auto guy named Kenneth who was able to help me change out my alternator and timing belt within 4hrs and on the same day!! WOW!! They saved me tons of money and truly helped me see that there really is good people out there… Thank you Thank you Thank you! I will definitely be coming back and spreading the word for this place…

Great shop , great owner.....today my starter started acting up. I had purchased a starter from here 4 years ago. I brought it back to see if he had a replacement for me...I had my receipt.....he looked at the receipt and said he wanted to look at my starter to see what went wrong. He asked if I could wait 20 minutes...I said yes....he then proceeded to rebuild my starter....new brushes, solenoid and bearing . I was so thankful as I was expecting to have to buy another, but no charge he said....it was warrantied and he was curious as what made it fail.....worn brushes. This business is HIGHLY recommended!!

Had a really great experience here. The owner, Ruben, was super helpful and knowledgeable. Helped me get what I needed and also gave some great insight. Definitely recommend and I will def return if I need something in the future.

Excellent customer service. I bought a rebuilt starter and it malfunctioned within 4 months. But they replaced it right away, and even gave me partial reimbursement of mechanics fees. Would a chain store like Napa stand by their products like that? No. But these guys did.

Best place on Maui to get starters and alternators. best price, best service. I got my alternator rebuilt on a Saturday(!) in an hour at a price that was 40% BELOW O'Reilly's price for a new rebuilt. plus, I can trust this one to work when I install it. Can't say that about O'R. Napa didn't even have one in the state...Go here.
