My boss does business with this company regularly as they are in the closest vicinity to our shop. We dismantle cars from time to time and routinely have core engine blocks to recycle. We brought them a camaro to crush and I had mistakenly left a very expensive tool inside. When I arrived, I was greeted by a older white man with gray hair. I explained my case and he then proceeded to ask me if a Milwuakee was a beer. I explained further, and parked exactly where he told me to. I was told that I could look for it, so I did. The younger gentlemen in the yard hailed me back off the scrap pile and offered to retrieve the car for me so I could look through it. Very kind of them. As I'm walking to the vehicle to search, fella from the weigh station that greeted me gives me a dog whistle and starts rambling on about how my presence is a liability. That much is obvious, but I was given the green light to look. It's not my fault simple English wasn't comprehended. He then, due to his on inability to grasp the conversation or the simple things I was saying, tried to tell me that my tool was gone and that they didn't have it in an attempt to shoo me off the property. He then asked me if anyone was helping me, after I had explained to him somebody was kind enough to set the car in a safe area for me to search, and that I WILL be searching it. Lo, and behold, it was sitting in the trunk. Thank you to the kind and helpful younger fellas that actually helped and a fine middle finger to the cranky old dude who just wanted me gone.

I bought 2 55 gallon drums. They were exactly as described and they loaded them in my truck.

Great place to sell metals. Keep in mind how busy they are every day! They treat me fantastic and pay fair prices!

Be sure to check your receipt for the correct weights and classification of what you sell them. I had a tare weight of 400 lbs. for 3 empty five gallon buckets and then the owners brother in law who runs the place insulted me, telling me I was just upset and tried to turn it into my fault. BEWARE.

I called regarding a local construction job we were handling for a client. Spoke with Kenny and he worked with my immediate need and schedule with roll off service. Detail on recovery was emailed to me very quickly and timely. Metal recovery rate was fair and consistent for the market/time and the haul fee was inline. I appreciated the service he provided.

Very friendly staff. First time visit you must provide your driver's license if you want cash back. I only had 4 nonstick pans to recycle, and based on the weight of the steel I earned 60 cents, which was rounded up to $1. Partly drive-thru, partly you must get out of your car if you want the cash.

I had the back of my truck filled with bags of aluminum cans. I was told to use the big scales, because there were supposedly too many for the small scale. Essentially, my truck was weighed with, then without the bags of cans, on a vehicle scale. Well problem is, the big scale only has 20lb increments. So, it could've gone in either direction. But I'm pretty sure they're not giving up 20 lbs on their end. After I dumped them, they said I had 100lbs exactly. Kinda hard to believe it was 100 to the T. So yeah, they pay good per pound, but if the scale is off, that's not worth much. Also, they wouldn't even let me dispose of my dirty trash bags that the cans were in, at their facility, which is basically a garbage dump... Said I had to take them with me. I'll weight my payload first before I take another to this place. Also, I'll insist on using the small scale. Hopefully that one's accurate.

First off id like to say i appreciate the people there that tried to work with me and negotiate a price i could tell they were trying. But the reason i gave a one star is because i know they tried to rip me off. Gave me way less then the market value and less then i usually get at other scrap yards. And tried to say that “ well the market is down and no one is buying our scrap”. Literally gave me half of what i usually get at other scrap yards. Save yourselves some time and money and go to another scrap yard.

VERY poor customer service. Will never go there again. Thank goodness I'm not from here. Always go to Foss Recycling in Reidsville. Never been to a recycling place where every person in the vehicle has to have a valid ID. The person taking the stuff I understand. And I DO have a valid driver's license. But because my passenger didn't have an ID I was told they didn't want my business. You won't ever get my business again. And we do alot of work in this area remodeling houses. Will definitely take my business elsewhere!

Not a bad place to sell scrap metal if you're a contractor or DIY person but for those of us just clearing out old household items, such as small appliances or electronics not so much. I had the trunk of my vehicle packed with old electronics, cell phones and a couple of small appliances and only walked out of their Money Machine with 4 dollars. All that trouble is not worth 4 singls dollars to me - I could have left that stiff by the side of the road and it would have been gone by the end of the day with less trouble. Their television ads say they give you cash, which is true bit what they don't tell you is that they pay more for different types of metals. Do your research before you go to one of these places so you don't walk away disappointed.

Bring junk for cash. Just cleaning up around the house brought $35, & made the neighborhood happy... Double points! Computer stuff, wire, large plastics, pipe, fencing, posts, old basketball goals, strollers, and best of all.... You are improving the environment and your neighborhood surroundings.

Well I am wondering if you can buy scrap from you for restoration or forging projects because I would like to get into that I was also wondering if you have any rusty hatchets, clever, swords or knives that the public are allowed to buy and roughly how much they would cost. Thank you if you reply and if not still thank you my name is John Fedorka if I am to ever visit.

Just went there today, 5/5/2020. Turned in my scrap of steel, aluminum, and some cooper. I didn't get a whole lot for it, but the service was nice and they helped me out so i knew what to do. If you need some cash and have scrap to get rid of. This place is ok to do that with.
