The guys that work there are super nice and super helpful. Some places act condescending when you're a woman buying parts but at Shurfit they've always been very respectful. Good quality parts and good prices.

I am a bit of a backyard mechanic today but used to work full time on the bench, I like to do all my vehicle maintainance and repairing my self as much as i can - Shurfit has become my go to place for all my car and truck parts. Always end up getting better brands and higher quality parts here at a lower price with much better warranties. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpfull, experienced and almost always have valuable tips and/or warnings that can save you time and money, and avoid a hassle when returning any unneeded new parts. Impressive stock of automotive high power electrical parts including 250A fuses and quality copper connectors for larger conductors all at very reasonable prices as well. If they don't have something readily available in stock -experience has taught me that I most likely will not need it. I always have a good experience here and feel foolish when I try somewhere else.

WoW i just bought 3 new batteries for my international,,, commercial truck.,,,was about $50.00 cheaper for each battery at Shurefit.The staff was exceptional. The prices are the best i can find in Saint John.Special thanks to Shawn, very helpful, batteries are heavy. He carried them in and out of my truck and loaded them for me.Great old school service.Had to find these days, Saint John or anywhere else for that mater.I just ordered Tie rods, caliper and 2 lower control arms, today as well.High 5 to Shawn and a 5 star review, i can highly recommend this company as a Gem.Allan Thorne

It's pretty simple - if you buy a belt whether on your own or through the hands of a repair shop - THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A WARRANTY. The process for when a belt breaks is to have it sent back to the manufacturer who then makes the determintation if the belt broke from a defect or not and whether the warranty will be honoured. I was told there is a 1 year warranty today. On a subsequent call I was told there is only a 90 day warranty. The point is this - the same folks who would pay for the warranty are the same ones performing the 'forensics' on the belt to see if it indeed is due to defect. How is that a warranty? Do you think they will ever find a defective belt since they are investigating their own product? I think not. So be warned - you have no warranty on anything. What if the belt cannot be retrieved for when it was broken it was dislodged and was left somewhere on the highway? What then? I guess no warranty there either. This belt lasted 60 days and Legere's Garage performed the work...$126.45 to change a belt - I think the best was $45? Anyways, pretty sad.
