    We sold our house so we needed to cancel service until we moved to our new address. Surprised to be slapped with a ridiculous $75 trash can pickup fee.... let's be reasonable please!! Our trash can was picked up before the next billing cycle but still got charged on my card. Called and got that resolved. Now I get another $99 bill with dates and charges that don’t make any sense. I will never use waste management again even though they had great service since it's all about the money! Could've had a returning customer but your charges are ridiculous and unreasonable especially after your ridiculous charges continued to go up and we didn't say a thing!

    Trash pickup for my area is on Mondays. Truck came and dumped my entire can into the truck and just drove away. (I was home and watched it happen.) Call Cust Serv. I was told I would get a new can on the day before my pickup, which they said was Friday. No can until after the truck picked up on Monday.Called to cancel. They said it would be $75 to come pickup the trash cans. So all because of a terrible driver, I get to deal with a week and half of trash building up and nothing but more money coming out of my pocket.I will not be paying that charge. A multi-million dollar company should be able to wave that charge, but no they just want more for every little thing they do.Never thought a Trash Company would be such a Trash company...Edit: THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE! CANCELLED ON 12/25/22 AND THEY ARE STILL CHARGING ME For 1/22 - 3/22. Biggest scam ever! USE PHEONIX RECYCLING!

    Waste Management has a wonderful low rate for senior citizens. They pick up the waste when they say they will, and leave the area free from trash. If we need to suspend the service due to vacation, they are happy to do this with no charge. We are very pleased with our service and the kind customer service.

    If I could give WM zero stars I would. After setting up my account online and receiving a confirmation email I never received my trash can. After several calls and being promised different dates I finally received my trash can a week late. My trash was picked up once after that and missed the next two times. Long story short we canceled our service. I had to call them again today to remind them I canceled my service and to quit charging me for trash pick up. We haven’t had a can for two months. If you have another choice for trash collection use them.

    Unable to get information on service for my location without having to repeat same information to a variety of phone people. Meanwhile forced to listen to all of their advertising on hold

    They’ve lied to me twice. All I’ve accomplished with them is giving them money. They keep saying they will drop the dumpster off but they still haven’t. Trash is just piling up lol. I’m so glad there is another provider. This is the worst customer service ever simply due to the fact that they blatantly lie to their customers. After reading reviews it’s clear I’m not the only one this happens to. Didn’t realize I had to check reviews before retaining trash and recycle services. I’m sure they’ll send a generic response about how they pride themselves on this and that and hold themselves to an exceptional level but let’s face it waste management. You’re all liars. You’re seriously just a terrible company. Can’t provide large dumpsters. Can’t provide trash bins. Can’t provide recycle bins. Yet your company makes money how? Take your business elsewhere. I’m seriously so disappointed.Service: Construction debris removal

    Waste Management has increased it's price for weekly pickup of household trash by nearly 100% in the last 5 years without any improvement in value. They have increased our monthly service charge to $62.32 for once a week pickup with no recycling. It's outrageous.

    We receive weekly service, but the driver will not come to the house. We are forced to walk the cans the 1500+ feet to the end of the road. I hope they decide to come to the house soon, as the snow is about to hit here. Service: Junk removal

    Went on WM website for holiday pickup schedule...said if regular schedule day was Jan. 1, it would be picked up 12/31, no one ever came. Called the local # and ended up talking to some rep in Phoenix stating the website is wrong and that we would get service 1/1/21. WELL, it's 2021 and nothing has changed with WM. No service pickup today, recorded phone says "you're scheduled "TOMORROW"...was this still the same message I listened to yesterday....I wonder. PLEASE, if you are going to respond to this review with the usual response template with names entered into blank spaces, don't waste your time. Just pick up our trash.

    I wish I didn't have to give this company a star at all. I have never encountered a more poorly run company in my life. When I first opened my account they opened a duplicate account and double charged me multiple times and sent late fees for the unpaid account despite me calling as many times (and probably more) explaining I was being billed twice under two different accounts for one service.During the time of service our home actually RECEIVED the service about 1/2 the scheduled times in the winter with no reimbursement for lack of pickup even if roads were maintained.Fast forward and it is now more than TWO YEARS since I have lived at the residence that I used WM for and despite probably a dozen calls to correct the situation I am still being billed for both of the accounts despite me requesting them being closed and being told every single time that they are.They actually found my NEW address, even though I had passed the account to another person at the address receiving service (name, phone number, email etc... removed myself from the account completely) before I had even left and are continuously sending me over due bills for accounts they keep claiming are zeroed out and closed (the person I transferred the account to also moved and has attempted multiple times to close the account on their own in addition to my attempts)You will save yourself time, money, and frustration hauling your own trash and recycling if you have no other service options. Waste Management will NEVER be worth it. I can't believe they've managed to stay in business.
