I’ve been to Recycling Resources several times now and it’s always a smooth process. I’ve brought in everything from high-value copper and brass to bulkier items like old appliances and a lawnmower. The staff is professional, the scales are fair, and they make it easy to get in and out without a hassle. This is definitely my go-to spot for scrap in the area.

They really need a big sign near the main entrance (and another up the hill) to direct people where to go, because they receive different things in different places. For example, steel goes that way, other metals this way, appliances/TV’s that way. I arrived and waited confused until someone was available to help me. That said, the staff were really nice, and I appreciate having a place that’s not the dump to bring this stuff.

I've been to all the scrap yards in tacoma and by far this is honestly best place to scrap your items no hassle no bullshit very friendly humble people who treat you like a person not like a hustle.
