Customer Review Summary for Pick-n-Pull

Recent feedback paints a split picture: many customers praise the large, well-organized yard with cars on stands, frequent inventory turnover, and generally easy part pulling; several note helpful, friendly staff who assist with locating vehicles, lend tools, and even offer veterans discounts. However, a dominant countertheme is frustration with pricing and fees: entry charges plus core, warranty, and environmental/add-on fees make many parts cost as much or more than new online, with some calling out “half-price” weekends as the rare good value. Repeated complaints cite inconsistent or rude counter service and poor communication, while others report courteous, outgoing employees-suggesting uneven service depending on who’s working. Compared with nearby yards, this location stands out for its organized layout and selection, but expectations around total price at checkout and staff demeanor vary widely, so checking inventory and posted prices beforehand is key.

Zero stars if it were possible. This establishment has implemented a set of rules so extreme that even a prison wouldn’t enforce them. Meanwhile, people openly come and go causing damage, stealing, and creating chaos—yet as an honest customer genuinely trying to follow their procedures, I was met with resistance at every single step. The issue isn’t just the rules; it’s the staff. Their behavior, demeanor, and communication are completely unacceptable. Communication is practically nonexistent, and basic customer service is clearly not a priority. I understand this is a junkyard—but that is not an excuse to abandon professionalism or basic human decency. You are operating a business, standing behind a counter, and accepting money. That alone should come with a minimum standard of respect. This place needs significant improvement—across management, staff training, and customer relations. If ownership wants to understand what a functional operation looks like, I suggest visiting other junkyards. The difference is night and day.

This is about Arlington Washington pick and pull. The counter personally were cheary and nice. The one women who was in charge of the title transfer was the most unpleasant and boorish person I have ever met in a retail environment. She claimed parts of the bill of sale was invalid because the chamber of commerce tied in some of the information then printed form. Whent to licensing in Arlington had them look over paperwork and said there is nothing wrong with it and that's how they do it too. Now I'll haveto take off time from work, pick up original owner from a convolescent center too have him there just incase needed. 4 hour window. Can't remember being so disgusted by a person like that before. Had other lady in same office help me understand what they wanted. Hopefully will be taken care of this Tuesday. If I knew of better place I would use it. Maybe get on internet and research before Tuesday

Went in on half price weekend. Really good inventory selection, cars are not overly picked. 2 bucks to get in, 1 dollar if you join their loyalty program (free). Only "downside" would be their staff demeanor, but come on. You are getting killer deals on parts. Get what you pay for? Not a big enough issue to keep me away.
