Unethical Billing, Hostage Tactics — Trucking Companies Beware This review reflects our direct documented experience with this company. We hired them for load shift / freight rework services. In three recorded calls, we confirmed a rate of $750 per hour. Driver arrived 9:00 AM and they did not start working until 9:20 AM. The job was fully completed by 11:40 AM — a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes. Despite this, they invoiced us for 4 full hours + $100 for lumber = $3,100. When we questioned the invoice and asked for clarification, we were told “That’s the price — pay now” with no explanation and no breakdown. They then physically blocked our semi-truck at their yard, stating that if we didn’t pay immediately, they would add even more charges for our truck being there. In our professional opinion, this is predatory, unethical, and completely unprofessional. There is no way to avoid this kind of treatment except by not using them at all. Carriers and brokers — protect your business and stay far away from this company.

Kirkland towed my car on 02/13/26 after I had been rear ended by another driver. I was a complete nervous wreck. When the wrecker anrrived and saw my ride hadn’t gotten there yet he offered to take me to the wrecker lot with him. Joe was a God send. He made sure I wasn’t just left on the side of the road, he made sure I was okay, and he talked to my mom over the phone explaining all the details she needed. His calming caring spirit was well appreciated and much needed. Thank you Joe. God bless you.

I work as a tow operator for another company. One night I had a call vehicle 150 feet off driveway. I couldn’t get it with my roll back not enough cable. I made one call to my buddy Wade Kirkland. He assured me that he had a medium duty wrecker that could come out and get the vehicle unstuck safely. I gave him the address and within 30 minutes we had the customer up and going unstuck. I appreciate the crew at Kirklands for always being around to lend a helping hand when ever needed.
